    Swedish Elitserien week 3 Tue/Thur 21st/23rd May

Can someone confirm if the above riding order is still correct please? SVEMO site won't display properly for me for some reason.
  3. Sings4Speedway

Yep definitely early days and plenty of team changes to come yet throughout the league and bad luck can strike any side but still fear this will be the battle of the bottom 2.

    Peterborough Panthers 2019

There may never have been any integrity among those who have run speedway since 1928 ( or 1923 - see even the birth of the sport is lost in the mists of time ). If there ever was it's a small minority for sure. Most have been wannabe Arthur Daleys.

ouch// bit harsh mate. it,s early days yet and I expect the potters to finish around mid table or higher but time will tell.

    Swindon 2019

That has been claimed on a few threads but no one has so far posted the regulation confirming a rider cant ride in all 3 leagues......
  7. Sings4Speedway

Fingers crossed silly things don't spoil the meeting tonight as it looks quite well balanced (providing all riders perform how they can). Warriors should have the edge here but there are plenty of question marks against both sides.
  8. All it needs is a little bit of Buster's TLC ( tractor lapping care ) and it will stay that way. It's not that he has forgotten how to prepare a good track, he just doesn't know how to do it with the free manure.

How is it average manipulation? Perks had a good season for Redcar a couple of years ago his average rocketed to over 5 I think then he got left on the shelf so to speak last year until he was signed on a short term deal by Peterborough halfway through the season he was playing catch up and struggled at no2 this season Mountain has over taken him in the averages I fail to see how or where the average manipulation is? I’d say they’ve built there team better than us regardless of who they have at 2 or 7 they will be strong.

    Kings Lynn 2019

It all depends on who is wielding the chequebook and if there any "afters" from the "sponsorship rights" affair. Either it was all nonsense what we were told about no Cook at Pboro or someone has backed down, but if it happens it's a win-win really. One gets a job and the other get's the job done.

Such a tough read. Best wishes to Tom. My thoughts are with him and his family.

Who cares who finishes 13th by winning a d final? Not sure even the ridera wanted to ride such a heat if they had an off night in the first five.

    Ipswich 2019

He has been woeful for Lynn this season so far,,, don't see why we wouldn't want another under performing rider to be honest.

    Ipswich v Wolves 20th May

Trouble is it's always us showing faith,, and whilst others are showing less faith, they are getting stronger,, whilst we will be getting weaker.

Like a lot of people no doubt, I'm struggling with a reply to this. Can only wish Tom and his family well again, especially now knowing the full extent of his injuries.

    Ipswich v Wolves 20th May

Me too - overall it has been a thoroughly enjoyable start to the season I dont generally go along with calls for lots of changes but I can see the reasoning for various concerns currently being voiced and just because we are doing better than expected doesnt make holding off on any possible move the right choice Equally there is a lot to be said with showing faith and lotalty where you feel it is warranted and only those within the inner circle will really know the score on that

    Eastbourne 2019

THE following statement has been issued by Eastbourne Speedway: As supporters and all speedway fans and well-wishers will be aware, Tom suffered a bad accident in heat 12 of the meeting at Eastbourne against Glasgow last Saturday (May 18). Following admittance to Hastings Conquest Hospital on Saturday evening, Tom was assessed and diagnosed with a broken leg in three places to his tibia and fibula. An operation to pin and plate the breaks was planned for Monday. However, on that day, Tom showed signs of breathing difficulties which meant that the planned operation had to be delayed and these symptoms worsened on Tuesday. Following a full consultation with the family, Tom was placed on to a ventilator and an induced coma on Tuesday to both give his lungs chance to recover and to ease his distress. On Wednesday, the specialists were confident that this had worked well enough to allow them to undertake the important operation on Tom’s leg and this has now been completed and the leg pinned and plated. As of this lunchtime (Thursday, May 23) the surgeons are "very happy" with the outcome of that operation. Tom remains on a ventilator and the plan is to bring him round sometime later today so that further assessment can be made. The diagnosis is that the impact of the crash has caused some damage to Tom's lungs that can be fully assessed once he wakes, and now that the vital operation on his broken leg has been successfully completed. The family are very grateful and overwhelmed by all the messages of support at this very difficult time and have apologised for not responding to many of them at this stage. They have also asked that all messages are passed on via the club at this stage and Eastbourne Speedway will of course pass those on for you. The club will only comment when authorised by Tom's family. We send them collectively, individually and on behalf of everyone all our love and support. Eastbourne Fineprint Eagles will be holding a "bucket collection" for Tom at the meeting against Berwick on Saturday and there will be big GET WELL cards for supporters to sign. So as to not inundate the family, if you wish to bring your own Get Well cards for us to pass on, we would be delighted to do so. Tom is very much an integral part of the Eastbourne family and we hope that you will all come along and show your love and support on Saturday, so that we can all collect together to support a very special person and family.

Good enough reasons to call it off now then??????

    Newcastle 2019

He was riding with a team leader of Nicholls capability & against 3 heat leaders in 3 of his rides. What I see is a riding order of weakest to strongest, riders ride at 6, 7, 2, 3 or 4, 5 then 1.

    Kings Lynn 2019

If indeed Cook is on a 7pt average,on June 1st our team average falls well below 42.50 and you can put him in as a straight swap for Proctor. And this should leave around 4.48 to replace Kasper.Thats how i read it anyway.Cook on a 7 pointer is a no brainer in my eyes, absolute steal on that.
  24. Think you'll find he stuck two fingers up to the DMU
  25. Lets face it, what's the point of him riding there? Those days are gone. Has been a great rider but bread and butter on the track that he loves must be the sensible option surely.
  26. Loose Diamond

    Newcastle 2019

Yes as I said a few dodgy meetings and it doesn't take long to get his average down. Much better rider at reserve than Conner Mountain. 7 rides possible now. Very handy rider to have at reserve. May not have been fiddling averages but it is definitely a false average for him.
  27. Clearly some of the previous posts are wrong.
