  1. Past hour
  2. SharpenRake

    Tiger Royal Rumble 18/08

GAZ Just ignore him . Every track has one and to be fair some ex tracks have more than one
  3. Phil The Ace

    Belle Vue v Wolverhampton 19/8/2019

He said afterwards. If he would have replaced bjerre in that heat. And bjerre wouldn't have got to the tapes in time for heat 7 then bjerre would have been withdrawn from the meeting. So had to let bjerre miss the 2 mins to be on the safe side
  4. but they are held indoors , so to speak .. time will tell .
  5. Fricke rides 4 leagues. GB, Poland, Sweden and Denmark
  6. Warriors

    Swindon v Poole. Prem. 22/8/19

I see Poole still don't know how to get rid of a hole, they think filling it in is the answer,
  7. You seemed to enjoy the Newcastle v Eastbourne match on Sunday praising the Newcastle riders how well they tried Hopefully you enjoy your breakfast this morning [no]
  8. Lemon must be the worst manager in speedway history. What was he thinking doing that reserve switch rather than replacing Bjerre if Kenneth still wasn't there or was there but not ready???
  9. Substitute rider list- if anyone pull out of the 1 to 16 19 Lahti 20 C Holder 21 lebedevs 22 Wozniak 23 Przedpelski 24 Covatti 25 Hampel 26 Kulakov
  10. People saving their pennies for Thursday perhaps, plus can’t imagine there were too many P’boro supporters there. The absence of Lambert must have an affect too.

    Belle Vue v Wolverhampton 19/8/2019

Cooks appeal will not be until at least November, Buster will not allow it. If guilty he will be banned for two weeks over Christmas.

    Kent v Belle Vue 19th

i agree with cityreb, Mulford was v brave in ht 12, my tractor would have beat the scrap Jenkins was limping round on last night, gilkes rode very well and just got pinched in to the bend in ht 15. Kent with ablitt and ledwith back will win this league
  14. cityrebel

    Kent v Belle Vue 19th

I thought the track held up well considering the late afternoon downpour. The racing definitely improved after the interval.
  15. Call me wolfie

    Belle Vue v Wolverhampton 19/8/2019

Belle Vue head to Kings Lynn on Thursday, will Cooks appeal happen before then? If so then they could be without Lambert and Cook for this crunch meeting. All teams will be riding except Wolves so replacement options are limited
  16. I hope that Buster at least thinks about and considers why there were so few paying supporters for what was a "dynamic" local derby. Yes, Panthers are at a low ebb ( brought about by Buster ) but punched above their weight, to some extent and the tactical decisions ( including the use of reserves ) by the Stars team manager gave the Panthers a lifeline of sorts. There were less than 1.000 in the crowd, perhaps not much below that but 10 or 15 years ago a local derby would have been treble that or more. Worth pondering over.
  17. Disappointing result but what do we expect with our key rider missing and riders still getting back from serious injuries and a rider unavoidably stuck in traffic? TBH we don’t seem to manage adversity very well. Touch and go now If we make the PO?
  18. My second visit to Smallbrook Stadium and looking forward to seeing the Belle Vue Colts in action. Last night they were at Kent and secured one league point so will be hoping to do the same or better tonight. The Warriors will be hoping to be back to full strength with both Georgie Wood an Danno Verge retuning to the action. As well as the National League clash the Wizards are in MSDL action against Birmingham Bulls making an evening of 21 competitive races. I set out from Clapham Junction on the 07:22 train and will spend the day on the IOW Steam Railway before heading for the stadium for what should be a good meeting.
  19. Call me wolfie

    Belle Vue v Wolverhampton 19/8/2019

Surprised no one else has mentioned heat 4. Lemon does a reserve switch leaving no one to replace Bjerre when he doesn't make it to the tapes. Poor management imo. Never the less, delighted with the win. We had to win there eventually, special mention for Kyle and Jacob who were superb.

  21. Because he appealed even murderers can appeal you are a bit of a drama queen are we not.

    Monkey Masks

That is definitely the earliest pic I have seen of one! I believe that would have been from Tuesday, April 28, 1959... Cool! Funny thing is, that has jogged my memory. I have seen another photo of Ronnie wearing a monkey mask during (what I believe to be) a World Championship round. I don't know the date of that, but I would say it has to be early 60's before he broke his leg. Just wondering why they never really caught on until over a decade later, and of course, on his return to the UK, Ronnie reverted back to a simple leather mask.
  23. Agertoft now has an official average of 4.00 ( the lowest a foreigner can go - his actual average is 2.13)

    Monkey Masks

  25. Its like talking to a 5 year old.. i don't hate Auty i just think he's a very average rider. You tried to argue he isn't because he is good at Scunthorpe which is stupid. I pointed out there are a lot of very average riders who were good at one track doesn't mean they are good riders. Then you start spouting rubbish about home track advantage etc!! No wonder you are the forum clown who no one listens to
  26. Sings4Speedway

    Kent v Belle Vue 19th

He has been having a good MSDL season along with amateur stuff and has beaten Mulford as stated, O'Keefe, Laurence, Chattin etc who are all riders on the fringes but equally have never made it stick at NL level. He looked a little awkward / tentative in the early stages last night which caused the early falls and then night was over and completed laps hoping to pick up any gifted points. A lot of first time visitors struggle at Central Park hence the merry go round of guests although Jake Mulford along with others did not so shows what i know.
  27. According to the GSA's on the BSPA site published on 16/08 Agertoft is still 5.00 & Shanes 4.78.
