According to Dave a few riders have expressed intrest in coming to Berwick for 2010 (tonights programme). We haven't had strength in depth which was what the team was built on. I feel team matters have been handled poorly which is probably why we are 3rd bottom. 1st season syndrome of course and its early doors but you don't move up the table being everyone's mate. I don't know what riders have expressed intrest in coming but we don't want another convenient signing like William or Stan. Start from the front if Adrian wont return, then lets bring in someone who can win races consistantly on big tracks and has a good point scoring ability at other tracks. I would like to see Mudgway come in on a 3.Craig Branney always impresses at Berwick and he is an all out racer and would do well swapping with Tero. While our Big Top 4 will reap havoc week in week out.

Tero Aarnio just has no luck and I do believe on that low average he is a must for 2010.
Michal Makovsky has improved his average by around 0.5 he is a certain starter and meritsa return
Paul Clews been Berwick's rider of the season he also merits a return and will earn intrest from bigger clubs than Berwick

Josef Franc Lightweight at No 1 but at No 4 he can win races home and often away too

Sike - 5? bit too high on a 3 yes / Franchetti I'll be suprised if he's retained / Burza contributes little away from home and will miss Sundays

Team for 2010
1. Adrian Rymel
2. Tero Aarnio
3. Josef Franc
4. Paul Clews ©
5. Michal Makovsky
6. J Mudgway
7. Craig Branney

I think you talk absolute sh..te,Stan has been ok for berwick this year, So if we sign rymel would he NOT miss any meetings. people like you will never be happy with anything the berwick promotion do or who the sign, if we signed nikki pedersen you wouldnt be happy cos he maybe miss a meeting or two, I agree pepe has missed to many meetings, but he is no lighweight, if your not happy maybe you should just take up morris dancing.

Paul Clews is a Birmingham asset...and may just return to the fold. He would be very welcome indeed in Birmingham, and he has a lot of fans here...that's if we get our planning application approved and are still in business next year.

Jade would come in on a 5.00 average, as it was suggested he may of come in to the Redcar team at some stage.

Hindsight is a great thing!! The Promotion will come up with a team that will provide the same great entertainment as this season I am positive of that.

Guys , no offence , but speculating on next season's team is pointless until we know the make-up of the leagues and what the points limit will be . Ok you might want this rider or that rider , but if they are not your asset then you can't bank on them returning . November is the time to start thinking about next season .

Paulco,

Thought next year was the third and last year of a BSPA agreement on season starting averages and teams will be built again to 42.50???

Would love to see Jason Bunyan as a bandit, always rides our place well. First 2 signings have to be Clewsy and Michal. The rest are up for grabs. Not fussed about Adrian or Pepe, both will miss too many meeting which Dave Peet was rightly saying has been a problem for us this year.

Greg Blair would also be my choice at number 7, Given a full season i feel he can get his average over 3.00.

Will be interesting to find out who has all expressed an interest in riding for us. This has been a learning curve for the promotion but i have no doubt they will have learnt and we will be strong in 2010.
