  1. Past hour
  2. announced at track the ref had not been informed about both changes there for them riders were not in the race and should have not gone ahead who was team manager tonight for scunny you would think he would know the rules but yet again how many times does his team follow different rules to others
  3. It's always going to go the way of the away team really as they are the ones sat at home watching it able to vote. Many home fans can't vote as they're there
  4. frazer bowes should have been rider of night or tate for his team riding in that heat he held scunny off for a 5 1
  5. I also thought this and if so then those pts should've been taken away.
  6. New to speedway hence the name but is there not a rule stating that the ref should be informed beforehand of any changes to a heat regarding swapping riders?
  7. Well meaning amateurs don't have a clue about how you market a product... And, instead of using the Sky money to employ a professional marketing company to move the sport as a whole organically forward... They used the money to pay some "Superstars of Speedway" a massive amount of money, who then, almost to a man, all "effed off" when the money ran out.... A level of money which then brought inflated salary expectations for everyone else.... It has been just one "make do and mend" decision after another with zero clear plan for future growth for two decades... Band Aids being applied to severed arteries.. What we have now is surely the very bottom, so, as the song said, the only way is up!... Can they do it right this time and build some clear future with growth? Historical evidence isn't on their side, but let's hope..
  8. I don't know why they're not appealing that as they don't seem to have breached any regulation
  9. Workington certainly looking good at home. Can they do enough away to pick up the deducted points they lost?
  10. How did Worrall end up with BSN viewers rider of the night. Batch or Bowes for me.
  11. Today
  12. I just meant compared to 2019. Even if you just go on ST sales.
  13. Not sure about that Lisa, this year's figures are no where near the stupid numbers mentioned on this forum
  14. When you see what Bowtell was excluded for last night at Armadale ,it looks like Worrell would have to fall . interpreting the rules seem different too each Ref
  15. The Golden egg was laid in the early days of Sky TV. It’s a real shame that the promoters & everyone involved didn’t embrace it & use it as a relaunch pad. That money spent correctly to improve the product with the viewing figures at the time could have been transformative. Also don’t forget at the time the sport had Column inches in the national tabloids & featured on the back page several times. In terms of race day if the product was want people wanted & was desirable it wouldn’t matter what day the racing was on.
  16. Don't think Workington will lose at home, provided they all stay injury free, and they may pick up a lot of bonus points. Good to see them back, I am definitely concerned about when my team visit
  17. BSN may as well do away with the RoTN if it's just going to be voted on by rider fanboys... although who was every going to vote for Jacob Hook when Batch got 16+1 🤷‍♂️
  18. Enjoyed that, despite the scoreline the racing was decent.
  19. Although I did vote for him in RoTN how Bowes wasn't excluded for unfair riding I just don't understand, he completely baulked Worrall. 012.1.14 Foul, Unfair or Dangerous Riding The Referee shall immediately disqualify any rider who they consider indulges in foul, unfair or dangerous riding. If, in the opinion of the Referee, such conduct produces an advantage to the rider involved or affects the chances of one or more riders, the Referee may stop the heat and order a re-run. When was the last time this rule was used I wonder 🤔 I've given him stick on here in the past and I hate to admit it but Batch was absolute class tonight 🤮
  20. Gavin Parr already commented that Glasgow booked Tate as soon as the GB team match was announced. So before Riss became ill.
