  1. Past hour
  2. Maybe they should have tried harder, success would mean more gate money
  3. Much to the home fans disgust the ref made the correct decision, birkenmose lifted before Douglas touched him
  4. how he misses their front wheel when he passes, very close including dirt deflector..
  5. This coming Wednesday sees the Pirates take on the Tigers for league points. The Pirates will be without the unlucky Fraser Bowes after his nasty spill last week resulting in a punctured lung and rib and back bruising. Hopefully Cooper will be available to boost the reserves Glasgow of course have Chris Bomber Harris in thier ranks, who always rides Wimborne Road well, add on Kyle Howarth and Leon Flint and they have a solid top three. Will be interesting to see how well Kevin Juhl Pedersen and Mario Hausl go on thier first visit. Sam Hagon is up and down with his scoring and not sure if Freddy Hodder is fit. Sticking my neck out, I think the Pirates should win this not sure by how many though. Thoughts?
  6. Would agree. No can replicate Bartosz’s dive bomb passes though how he manages to get the bike turned and keep up the momentum is brilliantly executed.
  7. What we meed is Rob on the mic or David and say "look we had a plan for when Pickos average dropped but we cant get anyone to come", wont stop some "fans" saying he has to open his wallet though,
  8. My observations of zmarzlik/kurtz is zmarzlik not a gator Kurtz is, zmarzlik forces openings,Kurtz is a clever opportunist bit like woffinden was, zmarzlik is not easily muscled out of the way, Kurtz away from belle vue seems to be, I think in the rough and tough world of the GPs I think zmarzlik has the edge but if you can make gates like Kurtz your always going to be in the mix
  9. 10 years in the GPs and he never finished lower than 5th that is ridiculous consistency and astonishingly he is only 31
  10. The points scoring system helps others more than Bartosz IMO .Keeping the Top men close.Even Bartosz has that sussed though. The one will say though is ,he is not gating as consistent as he used too over the last couple of seasons whether that is bike up or not.Kurtz seems to be his main challenger for consistency.Shame for Bewley getting injured he certainly looked in great form.Woryna and MJJ have added something to this Seasons GPs .
  11. Today
  12. I’m interested to know if these engine failures we are seeing are these ignition boxes, 2 weeks back zmarzlik had a bike failure on the start line in Rzeszow (hell hadn't froze over)and last night Kurtz had one, he came out on same bike in next ride so wasn’t an engine blow up, it’s happened to some others too, although any bike can fail I thought the days of top riders having bike Breakdowns were well and truly behind us
  13. Back in the 90s I was determined to master Exeter, I was only going there once a season with stoke or whoever and when ever I went I was crap, knowing Bruce cribb I asked for his advice about how to ride it, his advice was clip the kerb going into 3rd bend and then go straight up to fence, seeing as their fence was steel this was the last thing I wanted to hear but his thinking was if your already on the fence and lose control you will just skim off the fence, if your on the inside and lose control you will travel across the track hit the fence full on, now I understand what he was saying but unfortunately I didn’t have the balls to try it, I can’t say a rider will take a bigger risk if there is an air fence, that’s not how a rider thinks
  14. Blödorn wins the Auerhahnpokal in Teterow ahead of Sajfutdinow and Thorssell. However, a nasty incident took place. Following a crash, Blödorn apparently kicked Mario Häusl, who was lying on the track.
  15. The problem is and always will be the consistency and that is why Zmarzlik is the best. Even when he doesn’t win he gets damage limitation. You have Dudek and Lambert performing for Torun but didn’t show up yesterday. And same for a lot of the others, even bewley who I like can disappear of any meeting. Zmarzlik is always there or there about. Last night showed me that Kurtz is really ready to bring this battle. He started OK but then had a mechanical issue but still when required in the last two races (one to get into the LCQ and the other to win it) he found what he needed and made it happen. So he is showing to me he can still make a poor start to a meeting turn around into damage limitation just like Zmarzlik.
  16. Apologies for the delay in updating the table- i have been holed up in a darkened room since 9pm yesterday evening unable to face the world !! my only consolation is that Bet 365 very much mirrored imaged my predictions. 18 big winners( including yours truly) move on with fatter wallets all round and we lose 1.
