  1. Past hour
  2. i remember when i used to get that excited at Bellevue in the 70s 😁
  3. What about Lemo's Hotpot in the Peter Craven suite? Followed by Pie & Mushy Peas in the Panaroomaram in the evening? Opportunity missed πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
  4. If you knew your speedway history, getting beaten every week usually means a drop off in attendance. Winning at home is vital for attendances. You don't have to thump them just win and win on aggregate if you can.

  6. Kurtz passes riders on the outside, time and time again... Hence he stalked Madsen for four laps riding the dirt, inches from the fence. . Greg would have kerb crawled perfrctly to see if he could under pass him....
  7. I have to attend my daughters engagement meal in Manchester at 3pm, meaning I will miss both these mouthwatering extravaganza's of top tier Speedway... How many Championship riders?...
  8. Always a fantastic nights racing at Sheffield... Even more so after a hot day.... 60-30....
  9. Paluch needs to get going, Woryna was lucky Paluch stayed on his bike when he hit him.
  10. Im going at the expense of my mental health 🀣
  11. I was planning to come but I'll save myself half a tank of petrol & so something else considering the Aces lineup.
  12. Due to the sunny weather down south 😎🌞 I predict a dust bowl and a blue groove 😜
  13. i don't think winning the treble in 2018 was why the club went bust. Granted though that may have been the 'final nail' as they say. But in reality Laura was losing funds faster than snow off a dyke during seasons before 2018....I was told by a staff person that crowds were down to 300/400 before 2018. Laura Morgan bravely kept things going while obviously hoping for the upturn that never came. She wasn't the first Comets owner to lose big style, speedway can be so hard to bear.
  14. We have already lost there though. Although cup tie was pretty much done anyway.
  15. Today
  16. Jamie is taking a break from the sport apparently. Big lack of confidence. Hope he comes back to the sport in his own time.
  17. Well, I'm going, it's going to be a beautiful day, so why not 😎
  18. That's not good. Was hoping to see him ride at Poole as with our slicker track be interesting to see how he got on with it. We should let Cami do the track prep, then he can't moan about it. πŸ˜‰
  19. Me neither and that goes for everyone else in my family and circle of friends. On the plus side, I will inform Lemo that I am doing all I can to come up with crowd guest replacements just to keep everything β€˜speedway’ in GB.
  20. Gorzow have a good chance here, if they can get bubba and Paluch getting points off cerniak bandor and jaworski
  21. Who mentioned sacking a rider not me
  22. If you knew your speedway history you would know thumping teams doesn’t necessarily mean an increase in the attendance but does mean a very large increase in your wage bill.
  23. I am sure Scunthorpe could have strengthened without going bankrupt.
