  1. Past hour
  2. Why do they have to bring something new Yes I’d have Emil and Laguta but it won’t happen So ruling them out who would you have ? I want the best 15 riders not just new riders for the sake of it Who? Who is better than Doyle , Fricke and Michelsen and Vaculik apart from Dudek Someone new will get in if they are good enough … I think you forget that Kurtz qualified he didn’t have a wild card Woryna is new this year because he deserved it and qualified Look at the riders who didn’t qualify through the challenge Cierniak, Wolbert , Gusts and Pollestad are the only riders who have never ridden a GP season….. you want one of those over a Doyle or Vaculik …. Seriously??
  3. Redcar not in a good position coz it's a 50 minute walk from the Premier Inn! 😄
  4. I think the fact that Workington got through to the end of the season is maybe more important than getting into the play-offs. I could be wrong of course.
  5. Today
  6. I mean in the other competitions, Redcar in a good position imo
  7. I think he means BSPA or it could be BSN. whatever/whichever Speedway Futures Ltd is a business in which BSPA has significant shareholding alongside ten other vested shareholders. BSN is 100% independent of BSPA and is the trading name of Exstream Media Ltd who have two shareholders neither of who have shareholding in Speedway Futures Ltd. As such JH was well wide of the mark with his comment/observation.
  8. I only used Berwick in reply to "Third Man" who quoted them alongside Workinton questioning if they could afford top flight number ones etc.
  9. Indeed still going strong after 57 seasons, despite when we started all the big clubs thinking we would last a season.
  10. Masters looked like he was trying to me. If Lawson wasn’t there he would probably have gone through the card. His fall was caused by the pressure from Lawson where his front wheel went on the curb and shot him off across the end of the second bend. Masters and Lawson are clearly the two top riders of the Championship.
  11. No idea what Premier are doing next Tuesday - other live sport on both channels !
  12. Yes I was there too, what a night that was! What about his last lap pass on Doyle in the play offs against Somerset brought the house down!
  13. Ha, not sure you were being intentionally funny. BSN has provided me the ability to watch meetings I would never have attended, different teams from across the UK and keep my interest in the sport up. Football is on TV all the time and stadiums are not empty. Fans will watch a game from a foreign league, because it's football and it creates talking points. As long as the hosting club is getting a share then it makes great sense to me. What should be on offer though is even more for those attending in person - the analysis, interviews, stats provision etc. otherwise it does sometimes feel like you're more involved if you're not there. You get pits views, reaction interviews, stats on performance etc. which the attendee does not, and they've paid more for it!
  14. Maybe Berwick and Workington are not being considered for the big league". Given that there is an insufficient number of riders for all existing Champ & Prem teams to run even 5 man lineups without doubling up it is more than probable that a "big league! will still have a limited number of teams and two divisions. But maybe only two - no NDL?
  15. Did comics finish in any competition playoffs. Think they could do with a flat white each.
  16. Davie is well-known to real Tigers fans, hence we generally ignore his posts. On the other hand Bomber is absolutely loved.
  17. Maybe need some grading? Eg If you cannot get an 'A' grade you get 2 x 'B's'.. With a mean average so no team can get the best rider in every grade? Scrap the RS system as, even in a five rider team, the No5 rider will be pretty much "development" level I would think... There will need to be lots of "greater good" compromise I would suggest for it to work...
  18. #SHEIPS League match scheduled for 25 Sept ...
  19. i really have no idea what it might be. 28 for five man teams?
  20. Well... you don't exclude GP riders for no reason, you set a realistic points limit that makes it affordable for all. That's the theory anyway.
  21. Umm, we won on aggregate last night 110-70 thanks @Neila
