๐you know that!!! Belle Vue expecting a massive upturn in crowd attendance next season I heard due to Pep leaving City and people trying to find something else to be interested in ๐๐ but it could be worse! You could support Tottenham and your biggest day out is relegation avoidance ๐ -

Pa pa Lublin. Stal did what needed to be done today and turned up. Lindgren away, but the boys still needed to perform and they did. Bubba with ride of the night to hold off Zmarzlik for a vital 5-1. Stal getting the fans back on side now the old president has gone and the new regime has taken place and people can believe in these young stars. First Falubaz and now Lublin. Stal are comfortable at home.

Thatโs the spirit, good on yah! Judging by the negativity on this thread the pre meeting parade could consist of you and a few others being introduced to the riders! -

Don't tempt me.... Sounds amazing... Try Thai in Manchester could only dream of such a menu... Going out at 12 to enjoy some expensive beer and sunshine... I was a bit concerned that citeh are having a parade but La Pasta Bona outside the NSS will have more lining the kerb... I am having 115 on the menu, in honour of Pep..... -
Pity. I thought he improved a lot last year.

Glasgow so far haven't gone as well as you'd expect, with the exception of home against Berwick. So maybe they are due a big performance? But I'm not expecting it to materialize on Wednesday. Losing Dan Thompson was a big lose. The track will have had plenty of sun sure, but at least it's going to be predictable, so providing the water starts going on well in advance so it can soak down, track ought to be better than Kneeler predicts. Copper was fit enough for SON2 so should be there, presumably helping out with RR for Bowes.

The sport is down to its die hards... Winning the majority of meetings at home is the only priority for many promoters... Do that, and crowds will stay pretty much the same... There is zero big reward for winning any league, so why risk the clubs ongoing existence by spending money it hasn't budgeted for?... A title winning team at the majority of clubs won't generate much extra income, so why bother given their outgoings will increase .. Workington, when they won the treble, would have budgeted for around 90 points (like most do) for their home and away meetings, and ended up with a team that often battered the opposition at home, and often scored 40+ away... Their crowd numbers didn't cover that "success"... Only 15 clubs are left, so all need to cut their cloth accordingly as to what they can afford...

Foxes vs Lions PL R1 21/05/2026 19:30

I went to Thursday nights meeting with my son and I would estimate the attendance at around 2,000. There were quite a few Leicester fans there but we were pleased to see a large Northampton support. The noise and enthusiasm of the home fans on gaining their first win was impressive and infectious! We were very impressed with the facilities and the general organisation at the stadium. After many years in the Speedway wilderness, I have finally found a local team that I can support. We canโt wait for the next meeting. At last, is there a chink of light for the future of our great sport๐ค๐ค -

What about Lemo's Hotpot in the Peter Craven suite? Followed by Pie & Mushy Peas in the Panaroomaram in the evening? Opportunity missed ๐คทโโ๏ธ -
If you knew your speedway history, getting beaten every week usually means a drop off in attendance. Winning at home is vital for attendances. You don't have to thump them just win and win on aggregate if you can.
