  1. Past hour
  2. I don’t disagree with what you say, but different times, different choices, expectations etc, plus they were one offs, not a gp series. I paid for travel, hotel and tickets + anything else.. the minimum I expected in 2023 is a track you can race on, they couldn’t even turn or tried to in some races.
  3. Their fans dont want Monday or Thursday Speedway... Simple as... Maybe Ipswich and fhe other Prem teams could ride Wednesdays? Just dont sign any Danes... The top tier is finished at the level it wants to run at... It simply does not work to deliver enough teams in its current guise...
  4. Nor does the green starting light... At least., That's what Emil said...
  5. That's the thing PL clubs have no assets, unless you count the tractors... and I can't see anybody wanting Ippo's tractor, the flashing light doesn't even work 😉😂
  6. 😂 That's half the problem. It appears some people still believe it still is 90/91. It's time to move on and if the delay is caused by any one club(s)/person(s) by trying to hold British Speedway to ransom, they should be ashamed. Its time ALL clubs finally stood together for the future of British Speedway. The delay until January damages all clubs prime time revenue and makes you wonder who is running the sport.
  7. 2026 GP calendar: Landshut, May 2 Prague, May 23 Manchester, June 5 Manchester, June 6 Wroclaw, June 20 Malilla, July 11 Lodz, August 1 Riga, August 8 Vojens, September 12 Torun, September 26
  8. It would just be a point blank refusal to put British Speedway first imo. They wouldn't have an excuse about losing money by running on Monday's and Thursday's as they'd have a written agreement that guarantees any financial losses to be covered in full.
  9. Where have the rumours the peterborough will be back in 2027 come from. Have they even got a track?
  10. And be 100% correct to do so..? A business is only successful when you meet what your customers want.... And isn't, when you don't listen to them and ride rough shod over their wishes... A sport is only successful when built on crowd sizes and atmosphere... So run it when the most people want to be there..
  11. It used to be a top 4 finish. If he finishes any worse than 3rd against that lot then he probably isn't worth the hype yet, though.
  12. Even if Poole had a written agreement that guaranteed any financial losses to be covered in full they'd still kick up a fuss about Wednesday's.
  13. Today
  14. I'm confused. You state that the Premiership isn't a failure, then list lots of failures. Essentially all are that clubs cannot afford to run in the Premiership. The other big issue is that the top teams won't share out the top riders and never have so no one wants to risk bankruptcy to be the new whipping boys. What the Championship have done for 2026 in helping the weaker teams should have been done in the Premiership at least a year ago (and probably before that). Your only proposed solutions to date are to force another team to join the failing Premiership against their will.
  15. Believe that Beau Bailey first chance to qualify for his UK Visa may be in the Victoria Champ on Sat 29th Nov. His main competition seems to be Sedgeman (multiple winner before) - Declan Kennedy - Mitch Mcdiarmid - Fraser Bowes. The others look more beatable for a rider of Bailey's ability. The question is whether you have to finish in the top 2/3 or 4 to qualify. (can anyone clarify ?) Would be nice if he could qualify that early as would take pressure off the guy so he can enjoy his winter racing down there.
  16. My top 24 riders (weighted averages) league & trophy combined. 1. Jody Scott - 10.64 2. William Cairns - 10.32 3. Cooper Rushen - 9.99 4. Luke Harrison - 9.86 5. Joe Thompson - 9.72 6. 17. Reg was in the first race I ever saw, in September 1960 so a little later than you. I looked it up and he fell in that race riding with Split Waterman against Ronne Moore and Jim Tebby of Wimbledon. Of course he went on to ride for Wimbledon along with another member of the New Cross team that day, Leo McAuliffe.
  18. Not wanting to do something is not the same as not being able to nor afford to!
  19. Is it still possible to buy Sky Sports on a day to day basis through Now TV?
  20. Some Fans are advocates for PREM clubs to be asset stripped and forced into mediocrity in 1 big League. I'm an advocate for a Two Tier Structure that see's Glasgow and Poole being told.....No more. Either way none of us can criticise each other's opinions / views without being a hypocrite as we're all calling for a Club or Clubs to be forced into something they don't want to do.

  22. Two teams moving up will be like two Turkeys voting for Christmas...
  23. He told he wears the trousers and his Mrs does as she's told.
