    KENT ROYALS 2020

Perhaps the PR man couldn't go.

    Somerset 2020

Unlikely the reporter, a professional trained journalist, would give up so easily.

    Somerset 2020

The facts were well set out by the Star. Seems Hancocks are not talking to media. They don’t have to but by staying silent they give oxygen to all sorts of theories.

Kings Lynn vs Ipswich Witches May 17th 7.30pm

Eastbourne have been selling tickets online for a while now for their opening matches. It is clear, there will be no "walk-ups". As for maximum attendances, the 25% of maximum capacity is one yardstick. Local authorities seem to have a much more complicated and convoluted formula that takes the numbers way down.

You can bet in this first phase there will be no on-the-door (night) sales. I'm certain BCKLWN and NCC Public Health will not allow for all sorts of reasons, including the club capturing track and trace info and the possibility of crowding at the turnstiles. Yes, it does mean some people who want to go may miss out, unless they can find someone to buy them tickets online.

Speedwaygb website doesn’t cover amateur racing ..nothin ever about Lydd.

    MSDL 2021

And we're lucky to see the youngsters at Eastbourne too. Love spotting the next 'big name'. Who will it be with the present crop of juniors at Eastbourne?

    KENT ROYALS 2020

You say it was cheating. I call it gamesmanship. Kent broke planning law that could have jeopardised the whole operation. Huge difference.

So the curfew applies when Kent want it to, or not if they want.

    KENT ROYALS 2020

Cant remember but it was significant. I can accept allowing a race which is under way to finish but this started after curfew time. You can bet the anti residents 'clocked' it. Dangerous precedent set.

    KENT ROYALS 2020

My complaint is Kent Speedway picking and choosing when to implement the curfew. Seems to me that the word curfew needs no room for interpretation, no latitude. Actually, by going over the 8.30pm deadline, Kent Speedway put themselves at risk and probably gave ammunition to the people who oppose the operation.

    KENT ROYALS 2020

    Match continued after curfew time.

    KENT ROYALS 2020

But in practice, a curfew when it suits Len to get the result he wants

    KENT ROYALS 2020

And the match continued after the curfew. So is there a curfew at Kent or is this something made up so Len can get home by 9pm for his cocoa and slippers

    Tenner at Eastbourne for NDL.

    Premiership League Prediction 2021

Big home track advantage at NSS because many riders only see such a place once/twice a year

    King's Lynn Stars 2020

What he learns at one track , he can use at the other. Lots of synergy, I would say. Good luck Richard.

    Eastbourne 2021

Exactly, Verge is signed on a 2-year deal. And, if he is an Eastbourne rider, he would not be a guest if he was brought in. A guest is only when a rider is contracted elsewhere and Verge isn't so Eastbourne could use him for any missing rider.

    Eastbourne 2021

Eastbourne Seagulls, sponsored by Dyson Means Verge will definitely get rides this season which is no bad thing. I did read the NDL was cracking down on the use of guests and it looks like Eastbourne are getting ready. Rather one of your own than a guest, I say.

Final signing? Doesn't look like it from what it says on their website. If you read to the end of the story about Slick Nick it says: "Stand by for more Seagulls NDL signing news later today and more NDL and MSDL Development Squad News in the next few days."

    Eastbourne 2021

Eastbourne Seagulls v Kent Royals is now a standalone fixture at Arlington Stadium on Saturday, June 19 (7.30pm) + MSDL second-half. Adults and concessions: £10. Children (5-15): £5; Under 5s: Free. Tickets launching soon. Ten quid speedway. Eastbourne do it again. Proud to be an Eastbourne Speedway supporter as the club is increasingly setting the standard. Loads of news online and social media every week during the pandemic, social media is often every day. Four editions so far of a wonderful online FREE magazine, Flying High, and a fifth on the way. Plenty of publicity for the club in the local media, both online, in print and on TV and radio. Online ticketing facility already up and running with tickets for first two matches on sale. Feels to me as if it is Eastbourne which is the pacesetter these days. People says promoters should promote – well that's exactly what the Eastbourne management are doing. Well done.

Might be worth having a look at this-- gives some real detail on how Eastbourne will run these meetings. Good pragmatic solution in my view. https://www.eastbourne-speedway.com/online-ticket-update/

Ski slope first at knockatch and then skateboard. And they say speedway is dangerous
