Stoke Vs Buxton

Recommended Posts

They had a break in a few weeks back and some elecrical/plumbing work needed to be done; which by the sounds of it hasn't been done. Strange as there has been matches since. Be good if someone in with the club could comment as I may have my wires crossed...or even a pipe burst. Poor show by Stoke after all the recent problems they have had. Looks like a trip to Leicester; wonder if Tim is riding?.

According to Tim's Uncle, Tim will be at Leicester

Haha another mess by stoke speedway by the looks of it

We don't do too bad on track though do we?

Actually it was no mess at all but the repercussions following having the stadium vandalised by thieves and more stringent requirements to obtain safety certificates.

how come you got a safety certificate for last sundays meeting against dudley, but not one for last nights meeting? i think theres more going on behind the scenes at stoke speedway than what they are letting on.

no not at all mr vasey, like i said you got some exellent riders, but after last sundays fiasco(waiting for the unbooked paramedic) and last night(not having safety certificate1). i know for a fact that if i was one of your riders i would be getting disillusioned with your set up at stoke, standing around in the seering heat last sunday for 2 hours and getting postponed on a lovely summers evening ideal conditions for racing,if i was a rider i would just want to get on with racing,i wouldnt be at all suprised if you lose some of your riders at the end of the season for being associated with such poor organisation,im sat here wondering if you will be in a job next season if certain people dont pull there fingers out at loomer road,as stoke might not be given the go ahead to race in 2012 with such poor organisation, thats all iv got to say on the subject now(until the next traversty at stoke).if you go onto win the league i wont have any qualms about that as your the best all round team iv seen this season, hope you have a good rest of the season.

Well thank you for your concern but let me tell you that we have the best team spirit in our pits that I have ever come across and in this League you do expect to lose riders at the end of a season because they will progress to the Premier League. Stoke may move back to the PL but that is not my decision and as far as I am aware nothing has been decided.

I also have the best Captain I have ever come across in this or any other League and I really think we have a good chance in all competitions especially having knocked the favorites out of the KO Cup by a comprehensive margin. But I though that from the day we finished putting the team together.

We are confident and hungry for success.

I think the problems at Stoke are behind us now and I wont bore you with how they arose but believe me those problems were not of our making.

Come and have a chat if you are at any match we are in home or away, always pleased to talk to thinking supporters.

Atleast until the next time you have a few riders unavailable.
