European Union - In Or Out?

Multiple reports about cross-border trade already being down - in both the right and left press.

I’m sure the Brexiteers will argue this is temporary until companies get their paperwork in order, but the fact remains they got 7 days notice. Boris unnecessarily dicking around over the trade agreement to pretend to the Brexiteers that he was getting a good deal (which he wasn’t, and didn’t), has caused significant economic damage at a time the country is already on its knees economically.

Has to be the first trade agreement in history negotiated to get worse terms than before.

CHANGE the record ...

More then a few remainers going to have egg on their faces when UK economy picks up, and it will do, not tomorrow next week, nor next month....... but UK is now free of restraints holding UK back, give it a few years and UK will be very perky....... not sure about the EU though...... Sweden, Ireland, France, Italy Greece, Poland, Hungary all making noises, some will come to fruition.

No, Boris didnt get all he wanted, but neither did the EU, by a long way.... that is what compromise is about. Anyone with experience of discussions know very well compromisses have to be made, some on here do not recognise that.

HA still seems to think leaving the EU was all about trade which, of course, it wasn't.

Too true it wasn't, you only need to look on the postings on Nigel Farages' Facebook page to see it was a xenophobic vote

Did Farage only mention illegal immigration then ? B)
He didn’t say...

We know that the European Union is hell bent on further, deeper centralisation. Indeed the plans for a full EU army have been put on ice only until the very day after the referendum.

Or mention

So when we look at all of the evidence and David Cameron’s strong long-term support for Turkish membership, there is no doubt in my mind that if we Remain inside the EU that Turkey will have joined by 2025.

dislike of or prejudice against people from other countries.

One if his big topics was using Turkey/ Turkish people as a bogey man

Fact is they were never going to join with Erdogan in power. And Cameron was one of their strong backers. So as soon as he went so did any sort of chance of Turkey joining

Still no xenophobia. He was purely stating that Turkey might join the eu, and Cameron was an advocate of that. Show me where he says he hates Turkish people ? He didnt , he hasnt , and you are howling at the moon as per usual :D

Remainers for years had to put up with endless lies, misinformation and jumping on every perceived issue with the EU from the eurosceptics. So you're absolutely going to be hearing about every problem caused by Brexit, of which there are many...

You could have done it. I already pointed out for a few years countries have had an agreement in health issues to do their own thing !!
