Just caught up this and not  really up with the rules but why did Leeds have  to kick the ball out .

They didn't by the rules.

However, what happened is, the Leeds player, paused and looked as if he was going to knock it out of play. Everyone stopped, including the Leeds players, all except one Leeds winger who made a run and was played in. Villa, all standing motionless then tired to run back, he cut inside and scored and all hell broke loose.

However, the more I think about it, I'm leaning towards your viewpoint. You don't stop playing till the ball is out of play.

Don’t disagree that neither injury warranted the ball being kicked out, but once Villa had stopped a promising attack for it, Leeds had to reciprocate

Yet again SISU let down the Coventry supporters. Having intimated that they would be making an announcement at todays game that the City would carry on playing at the Ricoh, they get a half decent crowd in there and then no news is given on the future. Shocking way to treat the club and supporters.

But at least they gave Oggy a send off today after 35 years brilliant service to the team.    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/48050521

I just hope that the shysters of SISU don't let down the fans and the City and make sure that they continue next season.

Disappointing to see Plymouth sack Derek Adams, thought he was doing a great job. Falling out with his players, banning the media because they dared to criticise him, on the brink of getting relegated, what more could you want? Only the 4 years left of his contract to pay up..

First time this has happened since the 60's apparently..

The only Premier team in history to win more with 10 men than lose..2002 Double won 5 out of 6 games with man short..now totally spineless and leaderless especially away.

When you play 4-1-4-1 with your two top scorers on the bench. Time for the Devon Derby?

Bit late to this topic, but guess which Sheffield United season ticket holder went down with a virus on Friday night, and therefore had to watch the match at home in their sick bed????

Some hilarious pictures on social media of the squad celebrating... plenty of this :drink:

Fixtures for the final day look kind on them so a good chance they'll stay up still. Hopefully we can hang on to the final play-off spot in League 2 but with Newport playing tonight it's in their hands and it's unlikely we'll win at Forest Green. But after 2 play-off final defeats in a row maybe it wouldn't be a bad thing to miss out and have a proper summer break.

I honestly don't believe Wolves will sign him, but the betting for favourites to sign Joao Felix shows how far the club has come:

Juventus 3/1
Wolves 4/1
PSG 5/1
Man Utd 5/1
Man City 8/1
Chelsea 12/1
Arsenal 14/1
Liverpool 16/1
Tottenham 16/1
Barcelona 16/1

Just being listed with those clubs is something we couldn't have dreamed of just a few seasons ago.

There was another Portuguese attacking midfielder linked with us in the sunday papers who was in the same £ bracket as Felix:o

Can't remember the name though.

We are going down, say we are going down :( Final game in the championship on Saturday and finally it looks like the masses will protest. Too late but better late than never.

Feel your pain DSC. Looks like it’ll be Cove Rangers you get. Wonder if they’ll finish with only 8 men on the park this time?

Spurs getting a lot of grief today but they were without their two biggest goal threats and Ajax are bloody good.
