The last week of games did what I expected at some point as there was some one way scorelines as some sides rested players and used more of their younger/academy players.

Still looking good for the South West at the top of the tree. Next season might be interesting at the bottom as Irish and Worcester are struggling and will see how Leicester do next term and Newcastle coming up from the Championship.

A bit fiery this weekend, Farrell possibly out for 12 weeks after the high tackle. Some old school fists at Worcester v Bristol

Saw this weekend on BT Sport the new European competition and though it sounds complicated, the new format sounds not bad. Good see they are taking out teams playing teams from the same league.

Fabulous. Love NZ rugby, especially Damien MacKenzie.  Surprised to see Jordie Barrett (Hurricanes?) playing for the South?

Well the Dragons are being put to the sword by Bristol as I post so nothing new from the Welsh Pro 14 contingent:rolleyes:Lets hope the Scarlets can come up with a performance in Toulon tomorrow in the Challenge Cup:unsure:Leinster v Saracens,Clermont v Racing should be belters in the EC in front of empty stadiums.

In other rugby across the globe the Mitre 10 Provincial Championships in NZ is providing some decent viewing with the All Black squad being eligible for their provinces and the authorities are allowing limited numbers to attend the matches too;)

Blimey, didn’t see that Sarries win coming.  Practically the whole media wrote them off!

Went to the Reds v Brumbies the other week, and there must have been more than 10,000 there.

What was interesting Rich was that there were crowds(up to 5000) at French European matches namely Bordeaux,Montferrand,Toulouse and Toulon(saw visiting Scarlets supporters there too).Quite surprised tbh considering the Covid infection rate is on the increase in France.May have to cross the English Channel to get my live rugby fix if I can get a ticket for any Top 14 gameB)

Must say that Saracens performance at the empty Aviva Stadium was absolutely superb.Don't think that Owen Farrell was missed at all.Alex Goode played an absolute blinder scoring all Sarries points.

I thought the same Bluejam as I was not expecting any crowds in France as the recent Le Mans 24 hour race that was not open to the public. Prem teams are grumbling as need crowds to help the finances and if reports are correct that crowds will not be allowed into stadiums by possibly March then not sure what will happen to the Championship. Lower most teams do not have big stadiums so possibly they can play but at the moment with the costs for testing players the amateur teams cannot start yet.

Sarries looking really good, always rated Goode shame he did not get so many caps for England.

Saw the Prem Cup final Sale taking it towards the end good to see and hopefully Sale will push on as the northern clubs in the top few leagues are starting to dwindle.

Not sure if anyone else has seen this bit noticed the new competition taking over the Autumn slot will be on Amazon TV?

Great looks like either catching up a highlight show or maybe better might go the clubhouse if they have got them on :t:
