Meanwhile, back in Glasgow. ;)

To be fair Glasgow are faced with the same problems as everyone else and it will be interesting to see what way they go when the whole thing settles down...

Danny Phillips josh embleton mason Watson etc  for example looking at a top 5 slot in the national league/trophy & the likes of amature riders with day a 2.5 or 3 point ave to maybe get a chance of a reserve birth/position in the national league/trophy competition which will fetch them riders on

Think that's how the lower league should be with one old hand in each team for knowledge and advice. Riders like Howe Schramm would be great for that role.

if a Club like Glasgow have confirmed 7 riders, can get them all back and happy to pay for any work permits why should they be penalised.

Why not let them field their declared 1-7 in 2021 so that clubs who have to back-fill can but Glasgow are not penalised.

If Glasgow have to release a rider why should a club benefit when Glasgow are penalised.

probably a few other clubs with 6 or even 7 riders available, why penalise them? (Leicester / Kent / Eastbourne / Poole / Redcar - all indicated can get 6 or 7 back).

Stewart Dickson was quoted as saying maybe the winning of the Leagues in 2021 was may be not the most important thing as a reason for reducing average, actually that could work both ways.

If Glasgow can get and pay and cover cost of getting their team on the track, why penalise them ??

No one said that any club should be penalised and I'm not sure what penalty could be applied or for what reason. Or for that matter what penalty you could be referring to...

The issue faced by all clubs IMHO will be a reduction of the team build points therefore meaning a minimum of one rider being swapped out... so whether you consider that being a penalty it will be a one faced by all clubs not just Glasgow and again IMHO the current Glasgow team will unfortunately exceed whatever BSPL build figure they come up with for teams...

Then there will be the issue of work permits and Visas which wont (or shouldn't) be a problem for Glasgow as they must have a sponsors licence as they have brought commonwealth riders into their team in the past but may be for other sides.

Finally if Glasgow end up trying to use a 2020 rider who has a Polish commitment this will also have a potential impact on their original 2020 selection (but again maybe not)...

So no one is saying they should be penalised for anything the unfortunate fact of the matter is due to factors outwith their control they will have to make a change of some description. Whether that is one rider or six of them they are in the same boat as everyone else...

This is why our speedway is on its kneees.

BSP decides they want to change the rules after they said they wasnt going to change ....

I can see why Dmanagement at Glasgow are up in arms .

This club is run by people who want thier club to win at all costs a little like Poole did but they cheat ,money isnt a problem for this club because  they have good business acuman, and the company they run makes millions so speedway for them is about winning what they didnt check was the due giligence on what is a cartel the BSP ,  if they had of done they mite have chosed an other sport in Glasgow to waste their money, but they chose speedway and this is where i make my point .

These people who run Glasgow can see great opportunities ,well did untill now .

So its time for the TEAM at Glasgow to put themselves forward to be chairman of said BSP and turn this sport round  before its to late .

We need good people to run speedway not like our current chairman Robert Godfry who when questioned by Dmanagement specialist Nigel Pearson  in an interview some time back asked GODFRY where did your team finish in the league that season .

Our Chairman GODFRY ............. couldnt answer that question , so what chance do we have of him making our sport better .

So its time Dmanagement of Glasgow put yourselves forward to take control of our sport please and turnit round .

Looking at today's announcement, we should be able to keep the team announced for 2020 as the top 6 average comes to 37.65, which includes Craig's British reduction. Rules are top 6 average of 39 then add a grade 2 British reserve or 38 for top 6 with a grade 3 reserve, so either way we should be within the limit , whether Connor is a grade 2 or 3
