Do you know if suicide rates increased during that period ?

I suspect so , but the ONS and NRS, the latter up here, have not reported figures.
Many of the mental health charities report concerns, but time will tell.

There was a period early on, when more than you scoffed at the idea of second wave and it was just Boris suggesting it in order to take ‘control’ and fool the public.

Read my posts above about me “predicting” a second wave.

If I’ve ever criticised Boris it was for talking about a second wave being on us in July, August and September when it patently wasn’t.

Does he think that everyone who has a cold can afford to tke time off work?

If he does then its just further proof that they dont understand the real world

Re; the highlighted section.

Maybe we do because, that's what we have been brought up to do, 'just gotta get on with it' springs to mind. Far too many fannies around now that aren't able to do anything for themselves, always someone else's fault. FFS.

Maybe we should all drink Domestos to clean us up, some might survive!!!

What we are beginning to see now isn’t a second wave, it’s a new wave, a knock on effect caused by locking down people and depriving them of their life, it’s called murder or a form of genocide

If he wants to pay my bills I will happily sit at home. Bloke is a top draw cock who has no idea like the rest of the clowns.

And here on 14 July.

How’s that, Lucifer Sam & Iris?  :D

Bless.  Memory starting to go, is it?  I remember what you were posting back in April and May, even if you've forgotten! ;)

You’re saying I was posting about a second wave before the first wave was over?

Well, I look forward to seeing such posts when you find them.

But on the evidence so far you are wrong.

What's the difference between a second wave and a new wave?

We are not seeing second wave of a “virus”but the excess deaths now are the result of Johnson and his gestapo

I can understand that jobs might be getting lost due to the current situation and that could have a serious impact for people, but it seems like that isn't what you are talking about.
What do you think might be causing deaths for people by "depriving them of their life"?
