Covid-19 Are we being told the truth ?

I suspect many only follow rules  if it suits them

I suspect that for every person breaking the rules there are more who are exceeding them!

Packed beaches at Bournemouth made a nice front page photo and captured the imagination of the moaners, but did not affect deaths one little bit!

Seeing it is the elderly, and those with serious underlying conditions, who are dying from the virus, I think it is likely that the vast majority of those frolicking on the beaches were young and healthy...

Hardly a usable statistic...

Something that has been pointed out many times but ignored by DC2 and co. Nobody knows what the statistics would have been without lockdown.

The problem was it was hardly a lockdown just did more damage to certain industries. It was again another useless fudge that obviously didn’t work.

You have no way of knowing whether or not that statement is true

Or maybe it did work, or is working. ;)

Only the same information that the government uses to decide upon its measures, ONS and PHE statistics!

That’s not the point though, is it!

Young people “irresponsibly frolicking” (or actually just doing what they were allowed to) are blamed for driving up cases and consequently deaths but nothing of the sort happened in Bournemouth.

I assume you were not there so do you have a link to substantiate that?

It’ll be interesting to see how the government and the press explains the latest deaths’ figures.

They’ve already been saying that the peak figures (Nov 29) were due to pre-lockdown (5 Nov) infections, so will the latest high numbers (20 Dec) be due to infections caught during lockdown (pre-2 Dec)?

Or will there be some other explanation?  :)

It’s old news and old stats.  I’ll leave that to be looked up by the pro-lockdowners who never substantiate their posts!  :D

So basically you can’t back up your claim.

Why am I not surprised :D
