It’s obviously due to the lockdown.

Just like every year.  :)

NI- Lockdowns & mandatory masks. Sweden- None of the previous, but they do have Anders Tegnell...

People who still think you can control a virus are experiencing chronic delusion...

Tell me about Australia and New Zealand and what about our very own Isle of Man ? Even Austria are opening up again soon ?

What about comparing Sweden with its neighbours that have stronger measures . How does that look ?

While we are waiting for that, Swedish health experts explain an important question....

Upsala Nya tidning asks: The spread of influenza and winter vomiting is basically non-existent, it decreased rapidly in the spring as well. What is it that makes the recommendations and restrictions not bite as hard on covid-19 as them?

- Winter vomiting is not a respiratory virus. As for the flu, we have a vaccine that has been around for a long time, and more people have had the flu before. Covid-19 is a completely new disease, which we have not had before. It is basically the same routes of infection, especially droplet infection, answers Sara Byfors, unit manager at the Public Health Agency.

The measures that are taken have an effect, but not enough for covid, Sören Andersson fills in.

- Covid is a new infection that we do not have all the knowledge about yet.

Also seems Sweden is following Germany in only giving the AstraZeneca vaccine to under 65's

Sören Andersson, head of unit at the Swedish Public Health Agency:

- At the end of last week, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) approved the third covid-19 vaccine.

The Swedish Public Health Agency recommends that Astra Zeneca's covid-19 vaccine be given to people under 65 years of age.

Your hatred of Sweden's success in protecting civil liberties is like a broken record, but not surprising coming from a self confessed commie...

I don't have a hatred of anything other than right wing propaganda

Just show us a comparison of Sweden and its neighbours ? And do you think Australia, New Zealand etc have controlled the virus ?

Of course, sensible people would see this as a comparison of lockdown and masks v no lockdowns and no masks. It would be pretty clear to any sensible person that lockdowns and masks do not prevent a virus doing what viruses have done since forever.

Of course sensible people ask why does Blu never compare close neighbours, when he uses Sweden as an example.....but then neither Blu nor yourself are sensible....raging conspiracy theorists more like and anti-science mumbo jumboists like Dr Stella and Vernon Coleman and David Heller

Guess who laughed when I posted that questions were being asked about the AstraZeneca vaccine.......and now we can see who got it wrong
