Yes, but did they recruit sufficient staff and to what extent have they been used?

Yes they did, but then couldnt staff them, and knew they couldnt all along.

They were a massive propaganda coup, that quite a few governments in the past would have been proud of

Arh yeah, forgot about that,,, might have made sense to think about that first, although a do understand that they were in a bit of a rush. Nevermind tho, it just proves what can be done if you put the effort in. :t:

Talk of tougher measures in Stockholm.....and a little tiff over why Stockholm has vaccinated less people than most other areas. They say they received less vaccine and the other side say's 'no you didn't'...

Pfizer was always thought to be more effective anyway, wasn't it?

As it is the hysteria about AZ on the continent has meant many people don't want it and it is left in the fridge......

You're using stats from the current situation to make claims as to what will happen in a different scenario. Infected people, possibly millions of them, milling around virtually unchecked must make a difference - certainly, constant shoulder-rubbing with other infected persons won't improve their condition. None of us, that's none of us, can be sure of what would have happened without lockdown.

Check out  Brazil  Vince....no  lockdown of  any  kind.....

Brazil Covid deaths per million: 1141

UK Covid deaths per million: 1753

Looks like lockdowns are crap and don’t prevent deaths (but add to them many thousand fold in the longer term)

Well, that’s where a judgment has to be made in consultation with the family: would the resident be happier with the other residents in the Covid protected section or would he be happier being free to see family?

You see: choice, rather than no choice.

Looks like we'll have to disagree on this one. I can under stand the choice care homes made to wrap a protective ring around residents. They've put plenty of procedures in place to keep in touch with residents.

2 strains of the virus have allegedly combined so we have a hybrid they can use to justify their actions.
