Depends on the cycle. Most people are born with Coronavirus and if you run the cycle high enough , guess what happens.

Sweden - Kids at school and playing sport, society largely open, no masks, no closures of pubs and restaurants, minimal economic decline.

UK - Harsh lockdowns, schools shut, mask mandate, pubs and restaurants shut, worst economic decline in history.

Both have the same seasonal curve...

Some will say Sweden might have had fewer deaths if like its near neighbours it had used lockdowns, ignoring the fact that those neighbours had far fewer initial infections due to such measures as banning incoming tourists (Denmark on 14 March).

But the comparison in the graph shows

the seasonality of the virus, regardless of what measures are taken, and

that lockdowns cannot counter seasonality and have little effect once a virus has become established in a country.

Covid triggers diabetes?

Or diabetics are more at risk from Covid?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/health-56132391

The lad says he was “healthy” before he contracted Covid and then became diabetic, but I doubt that judging by his hospital photo which suggests that he was fat and diabetic beforehand.

Since then it looks like he’s lost weight and is eating better, but he is still fat and he’s from the Afro-Caribbean higher risk group.

I have just been out for a ride on my motorcycle and by what I saw people are already meeting up and not waiting for official government advice. It’s either that or people’s families are becoming really large!!
