Covid-19 Are we being told the truth ?

Recommended Posts

Annoys me that the newspapers and/or medis continually pre-empt what the Government is to announce as regards the easing of lockdown guidelines. An announcement will be made tomorrow and hopefully then, and only then, will we get some idea what the proposals are likely ro be.

The govt. leak it to the media to gauge reaction.

It's called nudging.

Is that the same as 'testing the water'?

So Starmer doesn't think Hancock should resign over the contracts scandal.

I think we know who's all in it together.

New regulations in the Czech Republic : if you go in a shop you have to wear a respirator or double face mask, but all the shops seem to be open. Seems likely they will be on the red list before long.

I'll await the 'official' announcement rather than media speculation knowing how miscontrued information is often interpreted to suit any particular agenda.

Sadly we know Bojo’s road map is going to be crap with the only change before April, which is still six weeks away, being return to schools and meeting just one person outside from 8 March.

It’s pathetic.

If he wants a transition period so we can gather more data on the effect of the vaccines, it should be:

rule of six outside with immediate effect,

unlimited numbers outside from 31 March,

back to normal for everyone and all businesses, inside and out, on 30 April.

yes please. unlimited numbers outside. means return of all  motorsports with fans and also all other sports. that leads nicely onto live music, festivals, boot sales, auto jumbles, bike meets,  fairs, fetes jumble sales. etc. etc.  honestly, how much  more of johnsons crap and lies are going to put up with?   i really have had a gutful

There should be no excuse regarding outdoor gatherings as pointed out by SAGE:

Outdoor gatherings

Sage has said (with "high confidence") that outdoor gatherings have a low impact on transmission.

One of the first restrictions to be loosened after the first lockdown was outdoor gatherings.

Currently, you are only able to exercise outdoors with one other person.

Wales is relaxing its outdoor rules and there is speculation about whether England's restrictions might be loosened to allow for a return to outdoor gatherings with five other people (also known as the rule of six), outdoor sports or something smaller, such as being allowed to sit on a park bench with one other person.

Looks like another few months of lockdown apart from schools returning, seems to be some concern over mutant strains spreading if easing to early.
