Covid-19 Are we being told the truth ?

Recommended Posts

Some scientists think coronavirus may be less infectious in warmer countries and might be seasonal in more temperate ones.

This scientist doesn’t:

Ben Neuman of Reading University was more emphatic. “This virus started in near-freezing conditions in China, and is rapidly growing both in Iceland and on the equator in Brazil and Ecuador. As winter turned to spring, the virus growth has accelerated worldwide.

Really?

Iceland deaths 4, Brazil 445, Ecuador 172. Signs of a rampant virus in warm countries?

Or Indonesia 198, Thailand 23, Mexico 79?

Meanwhile five bus workers in London have died. Presumably more bus workers across the country have died than front line medical workers (7)?

Unbelievably Epping Forest car park has been closed due to over crowding, it seems some people just don`t get it. The Health Secretary said on tv this morning that if people dont heed the current instructions then further restrictions will be brought in, including stopping all exercise outside your home.

Not an iota of evidence to actually support that, in fact, possibly the opposite.

That said, personally not flaunting it at all.

Can’t see that an hour spent running in the countryside (coughing, spluttering, spitting and passing other people) is better than one sat sun-bathing in a near empty field.

Evidence or not that's what the Government is intimating if people flaunt the self-distancing advice as indicated only this morning.

Exactly!

Someone out for their daily exercise, a walk in the park for example.. stops to lie down, totally on their own for a while.. is going to infect ZERO people and cause absolutely no problems.

Not only that, getting some sun is essential for remaining healthy, stay locked up indoors (like Italians) and you are far more susceptible to viruses. A lot of these pictures are from parks in London.. where else should they go for 'exercise'? Many houses/apartments in London don't have gardens either.

I've had to give up my fishing for the interim altough it's a totally isolating activity...a lake just down the road from me. No contact with anyone except placing an envelope with the day's fee in a box. However I have had to accept the directive hoping that sooner rather than later things will get back to normal...but not if people openly flout the advice.

Whether the Government is following the right course of action is debatable (no doubt there'll be a post mortem when things get back to normal) but we have no choice but to follow the guidelines given if we are able to get back to some sort of normality and restrictions on our movements are eased.

The BBC just claiming that if you are not sure about any reports or news on the virus you should look to a reliable source, wait for it, like the BBC
