Last 2 days been working next to a testing centre in the roughest part of Newport. We have not seen one person go in for a test but about 10 people there just playing on their phones all day.

Replicate that around the country and what a waste of money.

It's become a racket.. erm business for the likes of Serco and Randox. Not to mention it's an unemployment reduction scheme.

It has 4 security guards who are very twitchy  and I would hazard a guess are not long in this country so easier to control. It is right next to a place called the "front line" where the boozing starts in the street at 0800.

Glad I only had to spend 2 days working in the craphole.

Also,if you want a lesson in social distancing then don't look at that testing centre,it's non existent.

Good to see Israel on the green list.

Covid safe but prone to end up spread over 3 grid squares if a missile lands on your bonce.

Only this government could encourage its citizens to holiday in a war zone rather than somewhere you might get the flu.

Credit to Sage.  They’re good, aren’t they.  :D

Maybe it's a last ditch attempt to get rid of a few more bodies,,, mind you, it could be a war zone over here if folk twig on to what's happening? ;)

Beeb breakfast on NZ.

Use this chance to reduce NZ's heavy tourism carbon footprint.

A bit like preventing airlines flying people on holibobs............funny that.

Covid's lasting impact on the NHS

When Elaine Walsh was diagnosed with womb cancer in January she was immediately classed as an urgent case. She should have been operated on within weeks but the procedure was cancelled due to the backlog caused by the pandemic. Her story isn't unusual. BBC News has carried out an in-depth analysis on the impact of Covid on the NHS and found there is a huge backlog with waiting lists ballooning at some hospitals. But plans are under way to tackle the backlog and Elaine is due to have surgery tomorrow. BBC

Here we go again with Sage wanting to claim more time in the sun:

The Financial Times says scientists are concerned by reports of fully vaccinated people in India becoming infected with Covid-19.

But an Indian virologist tells the FT that severe cases after vaccination remain "very very rare."

Strewth.

You're doing an addio dimwit impersonation I think.

I do believe it was made a green country before this current dispute started.

Should imagine if you check FCO you'll find out there is now a travel advisory.
