This season has become a write-off after 3 defeats in a row. Sounds stupid to say as League 2's top scorers but we are in desperate need of a couple of decent strikers in the summer, all 4 at the club now need clearing out.

Another joke of a performance from England U21s. It's disgraceful that Aidy Boothroyd still has that job, should never have been given it in the first place. To have failed so badly with the young players he's had is shocking.

At least we have Southgate playing 5 defenders against the mighty San Marino to look forward to tonight

Good for Ollie and Exeter, a lot of credit however should go to Brentford.  It was they that turned him into a striker

Scores on England debut!

Out of order there.  The team was allowed to go forward with the full backs and midfield allowed to make repeatedly runs down the wings to produced a very good display of  what was originally called Total Football when everyone did everything. Won't get away with that in future games, where wins are needed but it was good to see some instant football from the likes of Mount and Foden. Lingaard was terribly unlucky not to score, but still a great performance from him. A decent show from the new lad Bellingham, who looks good enough to be a regular starter for years.

Missed your reply before but he often played as striker for Exeter as well although obviously he did it more permanently for Brentford when Maupay left. Agree that Brentford deserve credit for his continued improvement though! There were other clubs that offered more cash but he was adamant that Brentford would be the best move for his development and Exeter were happy to go with his decision after he agreed to stay in the January window.

Great to see him come on and score, I believe we get an extra 75k for that appearance as well so another little bonus. Hopefully he'll finish the season well for Villa and make the squad for the Euro's.

Pleasantly surprised with the formation, let's see if he sticks with it though or goes back to the 3 CBs. There's no real reason to be using that system against anyone in this group.

With their collection of farmers, sheep shaggers, artificial inseminators, plumbers, electricians, waiters, pizza makers, ice cream men, barmen, barbers, mechanics, and used car salesmen, Sad Marino are probably the worst team in history, would struggle against Cirencester Town, Dulwich Amlet and Chippenham Town. Have only ever won one game many years ago, friendly against Leichstenstein. Should be some sort of qualifying for small nations. Was great years ago when they went 1-0 up against England:D

Arsenal's Smith Rowe and Nketiah were very poor.

Few Sarf London youngesters in there, though it didn't help much

Nkeiah from Lewisham, Smith Rowe from Croydon and Ex Millwall youth Eberechi Eze, then the Sessegnon brothers from Roehampton. What with Reiss Nelson and Jadon Sancho and maybe one or two more on the international scene, we could put a good team together from South of the river :D

Forgot Hudson- Odoi

Nketiah needs to leave Arsenal for regular game time before he gets left behind. In 2021 he's played 90 minutes in the FA Cup and 2 sub appearances totalling 9 minutes in the league, it's nowhere near enough for someone who's nearly 22 and has a decent goalscoring record

Hudson-Odoi, although very busy had a  poor game making the same tricks time and time again without achieving anything. Became very predictable.

Did anyone watch the documentary on Jack Charlton last night? I was disappointed in it hoping to see more from his playing days unless it was covered in the last half hour...I had fallen asleep by then!

Was a bit too much about Ireland, not enough from Leeds and England playing days, a bit too long, but was a bit good though.
