Did the BSPA invest in riders? I think it would be a different argument if we were saying they'd made decisions but got it wrong, but it seems like they didn't make any decisions at all, just kicked the can further down the road.

A big investment in what exactly? A large injection of cash in Speedway terms… or major sports money.  I would presume a large amount of that would go into social media/marketing. I’m unsure how you market/sell the product. If it was that fantastical, wouldn’t Louis be hanging around? 

I agree that mistakes were made in the past and in particular the Sky income. But had the then BSPA taken the view that investing in property rather than riders I’m sure there would have been an almighty outcry. So you can’t have it both ways .
