Fair assessment, Loftus and Cluff only turned up on a few occasions this season. Which cost us a good few meetings. 

Every since I have been attending speedway the conversation is always clay content.  So as far as I see it clay has always been a key ingredient to track prep

We do have the second leg to go but, due to other commitments, there's a relatively high chance that Monarchs will have to run fan replacement in my absence. I plan to serve my 28 day ban in November.

Ablitt was given the number 7 spot at Poole a few seasons ago simply to fill a 2.00 void. There was no pressure on him because the Pirates had 6 very strong riders to offset his poor scores that year and the fans were extremely supportive of him. He's now averaging almost 6 points per meeting at Scunthorpe and could have another title under his belt at the end of this season. One silver lining for Glasgow is that he's hopeless around Ashfield. He makes strong starts but then seems to completely forget the concept of racing lines and always get overtaken.  

It's Mitchell Davey all over again. Each year there's a feeling, possibly a fear, that next year might be the year he really makes it stick. Same with Freddy, some improvement year on year, and the feeling we'd miss our by not re signing him. Possibly Oxford may be after him following his paid max down there in the summer

I’d have signed Hodder again but that’s without me seeing him every week, not sure he’s worth another season though at this point
