  1. If the fixtures throughout the season were better organised, rather than having gaps of three or four weeks between fixtures, it wouldn't happen. But it happens year after year and they never learn from it, which, for me, is total incompetence.

  5. I think Ipswich need a 5-1 here because I think belle vue can get at least a draw at foxhall

  6. I do worry for Ipswich tonight tbh, Adam Ellis really has to step up tonight otherwise this could be a bit of a battering. Doyle clearly lacks speed around the NSS, Emil may get the odd win over a BV Heat Leader around the NSS but he usually gets beat by them more often than not. I've got no faith in Danny King stepping up in high pressure situations and Tom Brennan @ No.5 worries me as he's a bit hit or miss this season. Poor performance from Ellis then BV could be looking at a lead of anywhere between 14-20 Points imo.

  7. Well spotted. It's good to know that Poole fans are so well informed and up-to-speed.

  8. Never mind the England game, it clashes with Bake off so I won’t be watching.

  9. Be interesting to see how the crowd is tomorrow night, not only running against England football team, but even closer the game taking place at Tatnam for Poole town! A number of people cross between both sports, me included as a ST holder at Poole town. Think the crowd will be poor tomorrow night, but the club had no other choice other wise it would have been late September. About time other clubs were heavily fined for not completing their fixtures or next stages in comps in a sensible time frame. Year after year we shall be heading well into October when the weather is poor and it ruins the meetings.

  10. Oh Well.... Theres always next year..... Whatever next year will look like!!! To be honest, given how poor the Aces are (their bottom three must be close to being riders 26th, 27th and 28th of the 28 riders left in the play offs), I am amazed Ipswich didn't beat them comfortably, let alone actually lose to them, and I sure many Ipswich fans must have some concern about coming up against either of the other teams who have much greater strength in depth... Sheffield and Leicester must have watched and gained confidence.

  11. Well slight advantage to the Witches I reckon but would suggest no one gets cocky as we all remember 2023!! Not a great night for Emil he was slow away and lacked speed - Jason had a couple of those rides that remind you what a top rider he is! One of two really good races tonight - thought Dan T did well considering he was in the main body of the team and had to face Zach twice DanB and Brady in his 4 rides!! pleased for Jason Edwards too a decent performance to outshine his opposite number! enjoyed it anyway and looking forward to Thursday!

  17. Said it a few times already this season but sticking with Zischke was a huge error from Mark Lemon and co. If Tate wasn't Australian then he would've been sacked imo, Playing favourites has been very costly.

  20. The normal stinker of a ride from Blodorn and Zischke early on. BV under huge pressure already.

  22. 100% agree! cut off for all league and semi final meetings should be completed by end of August. That gives the whole of September to run the finals with hopefully the weather on your side. Only way to stop it is fine the clubs.

  28. 4-2 to us in heat 12 and a 3-3 in heat 14 (Ellis for Edwards) means if we concede two 5-1’s in heats 13 and 15 we lose by 10 and that’s easily getable Must say the racing has been poor tonight

  31. I think 12 is easily getable back at foxhall No tac subs allowed and twice at Foxhall Belle Vue have bought Kurtz in as tac sub and got two 5-1’s…. They can’t in this

  32. Yes, Woryna will ride after all. Still a partially fractured wrist but Woryna claims that he is fit.

  33. Should have got the BSN series finished months ago. It's normally the same teams in the later stages of competitions, so spreading the finals out makes sense to me.

  34. Oh dear, sounds bad. If you have a replacement hip then if my experience is anything to go by, after about 7-9 weeks you won't even notice it's a false one. Best wishes.

  35. Potentially. Will probably only be BSN final looking at fixture list or maybe playoff SF if it got called off tomorrow.

  37. What sort of thing are you looking to do? Torun is a lovely place but there's not a great deal to do, although you should be fine for a couple of days. It's a nice place for a wander about, some lovely architecture like a lot of places in Poland. If I remember correctly, the prices are about in line with most other speedway places (aside from Warsaw), in that it's cheaper than the UK (where isn't) but not dirt cheap. The tram back and forth to the stadium will be coppers really, there's a stop virtually outside, and you'll certainly not miss the stadium! Enjoy your trip.

  41. Yeah this is right just checked but anyone can in 14: Each team may nominate any two riders for Heat 14, except those participating in Heat 15. The two highest scoring riders from each team (reserves excepted) may only ride in Heat 15. The scores from all rides are counted but bonus points are not included. A rider in this heat may only be replaced by a reserve except when declared injured by the track medical officer

  42. But you won't be travelling up to watch them, so does not matter when it is 😜

  45. I always think it better to have home leg first, build up a lead, easier to defend a lead then chase one.

  49. Looking at the list I would say that's about right for luke based on how we used the league this season. For us it was all about trying different set ups at each meeting using different engines and clutch components to see what worked and didn't. Tyres were always pre used with at least 2 heats on each side . Think the results were worth it based on his championship performances throughout the year.
