My database has over 8,000 names on it but no mention of a Michael Allen.

Don't know. I worked in Manchester at the time and he was one of the Directors of the company. He lived in Stockport. I was young and impressionable at the time and didn't like to ask too many questions!

Thanks for the compliment Bobbath. Iam definitely a granny and my youngest grandson has been to his first speedway meeting already, aged 10 weeks.

Many years ago one of the bosses where I worked told me he used to be a speedway rider and that he rode at Hall Green. I have never come across his name any where and I just wondered if anybody out there had heard of him, or was he winding me up. His name was Gilson (Gil) Seaton.
