  1. RIP Bob. Did a lot for Swindon,Reading & Newport over the years
  2. What I don’t understand is from the aerial view there appears to be loads of open land behind the stadium. Why knock it down and rebuild when you could have put the super market on the land behind ?
  3. Where the stadium was is now an industrial estate with a big car sales place (which was Ken Throne). It is right next to the A365.
  4. Sorry about the delay. After some searching I found most of my pre 2003 programs are at my parents’ house. I will try and have a look later this week. I don’t think I have a spare but I will check
  5. Hi Andout I am pretty sure there was a program for this meeting because I am sure it was called off just before it was about to start (I was there). And I remember how few supporters turned up (in contrast to other years). I will try and have a check through my programs later
  6. Anbody selling 2008 year bars this year. John Jones used to do current year bars.Is anybody do year barsfor this year instead?
  7. Well done Chris. Come a long way from when i first saw him riding for Exeter at Newport in 99.
  8. After all Denmark still won in the end. Helped by " Not so Flying Ryan”.
  9. Hasent this been going around about a year as one off thous email scare storys but that time they were on the M25.
  10. Can you email me a copy to simon_mattin@hotmail.com .Thank you
  11. Hindsight is a great thing. Neil been around for a long time as rider/engineer/team manager. At the end off the day it’s down to the riders to ride not the team manager
  12. dident marks awful crash involve a tractor and wont swindon top off the league at the time
  13. not acounding to neil street on sunday he said that gate 4 was set up for the danes and as jason won the meeting there would be no sour grapes
  14. I read it as being that way as well. However I too am confused about the rules of the GDTS from 15m. Some promoters are saying that the reason this ludicrous GD rule was introduced was to ensure that all riders had their 4 allocated rides. This surely cant be the case if you have the GDTS off 15m. Some promoters are saying that the reason this ludicrous GD rule was introduced was to ensure that all riders had their 4 allocated rides. From what i heared tonight from Tim Stone this rule was brought in by the EL to keep one team in the EL!!!. before the agm 3 EL teams whated to leave the EL. after Swindon & Arena said they would move up only one whated to leave(all of this due to costs). By the look off it this was an antemt to cut costs. Which is why the PL Ratified it by the look of it. He wouldent say who that EL team was
