Does this mean Vuvuzelas have not been banned from the stadium? I know alot of places have banned them for events, although with thousands of airhorns going off you cant really complain about the noise.

I need a bit of help. My Nan was telling me about her first time watching Wimbledon in 1951-2 season. She thinks it was just after Ernie Rocker (please correct me if i got his name wrong!!) was killed because his bike with on the centre green. She also thinks it may have been the first time a Polish team rode in England, she's almost positive it was the first time they rode at Plough Lane. I would be really grateful if someone knows some info about this meeting or knows someone that could possibly help me!! Thanks Emma

Its probably because you cant lose children there, as children me and my brother use to disappear all the time, especially to go and peep into the pits (we thought we were being naughty! ) through a crack in the door, mum and dad never worried about us because we couldnt get out! All the people that i stand with all went as children which is probably why we are so addicted and passionate towards the club.

My dad thinks i was about 6 weeks old (August 1979), he cant remember who we were racing but it was definatley at Plough Lane.
