  1. Just had another peek at Kupbilet, and it`s beginning to look as if not only will it be the smallest ever Bydgoszcz GP crowd-it could end up as one of the smallest crowds ever anywhere for a GP.I really hope there is a late surge for tickets from the Polish fans.
  2. Think you have plumbed the depths with that comment See what I did there
  3. I have just had a look on Kup bilet and cannot understand why the ticket sales are so poor so far for this GP-it`s heading for the lowest crowd ever for a Bydgoszcz GP. The Gollob factor may be one reason, any thoughts anyone ?? http://www.kupbilet.pl/index.php?f78=f90&f91=2&f93=f96&f106=sw0116&
  4. Interesting interview on RP website with Keith Hallinan general Manager at Wimbledon http://www.racingpost.com/news/greyhounds/keith-hallinan-wimbledon-might-be-down-but-is-far-from-out/1633868/top/ This is the quote about Speedway "Then there’s our Sunday morning market too. Speedway, quite frankly, doesn’t make money anymore, so we’re staying clear of that. I can’t quite see how AFC Wimbledon, on the basis of 3,500 people every other week for seven months a year, could be viable. They’d need a multi-millionaire benefactor – which I suppose is a possibility, but I prefer self-sufficiency.”
  5. Best of luck AA autoroute says 2hrs 3 mins-7 pm start at Workington-you could do with a long parade.
  6. Poor old Gustix is going to get annoyed-fair play to him he has apologised about 6 times now for that post .
  7. Some people might think they are the same-however this has nothing to do with the BSPA -it is the Speedway control bureau who administer the rules and have on their board, members from other motorcycle disciplines plus the auto cycle union(ACU).
  8. Batchelor will be around the same spread in Bydgoszcz(Harris might alter ) so will see what the punters do.
  9. I thought he would score 3-because I expected Harris to beat him-in fact I think Harris will score more points than Batch over the 12 rounds.
  10. It`s a marathon not a sprint Additionally all those who thought Batch would score more than 4 were really lucky they didn`t end up losing.
  11. 6 days to go and the clock is counting-and what a start to the season with 4 matches being televised over the 1st weekend. It all gets underway on Saturday 12th April 2pm uk time Zielona Gora v Tarnow followed on Sunday 13th April 3pm uk time Wroclaw v Gorzow followed at 5.45pm uk time by Leszno v Czestochowa On Sunday we also have sandwiched between the 2 Extraleague matches a Polish league(old div 1 ) match Rybnik v Bydgoszcz start time 4.30pm uk time. In the past TVP have been very good at putting the full match video up on their website quickly-so that might be the best option. http://soccer-live.pl/transmisje.php?id=motorsport http://www.meczyki.pl/ The other Extraleague match in round 1 is Gdansk v Torun.
  12. Hi Philip , a point for BSI to improve-the TV graphics were showing Tai ahead of AJ after they had completed their 5 rides-surely this could be sorted out.
  13. However unless there were late negotiations, the German fans wouldn`t have seen it http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=75962
  14. Really enjoyed the coverage-thought Tapp and Crumpy were excellent-although more than Happy to have Nigel Pearson and Kelvin Tatum in the remaining 11 rounds. Also thought Scott and his sidekick were good(and funny !) Eurosport it seems will be pushing the boat out when the series returns to Europe with Sophie, joining Scott and sidekick at the track.
  15. So after a tremendous opener-pleased I`m off to Bydgoszcz for the next round-we started with 19 entries and we lose 4 after today. We will have a new champion this year as last years winner Wheels-in-line didn`t come back for more(unless he`s changed his forum name). Leader after round 1 CJ69 £1350 FTM £700 J-D £700 Speedway sliders £700 Maverick £700 PhillipSR £550 Refereerick £540 Waithekaces £460 TNT £450 Speed17 £450 Hilly £330 Arson Fire £320 Psycho3a £320 A Orlov £300 OmmerUM speedway blog £100 We lose Icescot -£20 Gavan -£50 Derwent -£450 Racers and Royals £-£720 (pathetic effort should stick to bookmaking not betting) Will put the spreads up for Bydgoszcz before Easter.
  16. Your posts most of the time sadly make you look stupid-exactly one week ago Tai discharged himself from a Leicester hospital against doctors advice following a big off in heat 15.You really must keep up with the news if you are going to comment on the GP`s
  17. Draw 1 Bunyan 2 Ward 3 Bjerre 4 Harris 5 Batchelor 6 Zagar 7 Holder 8 Pedersen 9 Hancock 10 NKI 11 Smolinski 12 Lindgren 13 Kasprzak 14 Hampel 15 Jonsson 16 Woffinden
  18. Nothing in Poland http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/kalendarz/2014/04/27
  19. Don`t you feel for the poor old bookie who has to price up before current form is known,Riders now with one good leg,and punters waiting till the draw is done
  20. As I have posted previously-there is a Polish league match that night May 10th Czestochowa v Wroclaw so Batchelor will be riding for Wroclaw(unless the Polish match is put back 24 hours)
