  1. from BT Following a detailed process to identify the best way to generate investment and strengthen our Sports business, BT Group today announced that it has entered exclusive discussions with Discovery, Inc. on a deal to create a new sport and entertainment offering for customers in the UK. The new business would be a 50/50 joint venture, bringing together BT Sport with Eurosport UK. The new combined business would remain committed to retaining BT Sport’s existing major sports broadcast rights while BT Sport customers would get access to Discovery’s sport and entertainment content, including the discovery+ app. BT Group are aiming to conclude the exclusive discussions with Discovery, Inc. in early Q1 for the new company to be operational later this year, subject to completion of the deal and approval by the relevant competition authorities. Marc Allera, CEO BT Consumer, said: “The proposed joint venture with Discovery, Inc. would create an exciting new sports broadcasting entity for the UK and would act as a perfect home for our BT Sport business. With a shared ambition for growth, as well as the combination of our world class sports assets along with Discovery’s premium sports and entertainment content, our customers will benefit from even more content in more places.”

  4. From Onesport TVP Sport acquired the rights to show SEC in Poland. - We are already working on broadcasting options in other countries. I'm sure that all speedway fans outside Poland will be able to follow the European Championships without any problems - adds Lejman.

  7. From SGP website Danish Speedwayligaen champions Holsted are pledging to stick with a Danish core for 2022 as triple world champion Nicki Pedersen returns for his 20th season in Tigers colours. The FIM Speedway Grand Prix legend makes it two decades with the club when he lines up with the likes of Rasmus Jensen, Rene Bach and Marius Nielsen, who were part of the 2021 squad that stormed to Super Final success at Vojens. They are joined by newcomers Lasse Bjerre, Jacob Bukhave, Claus Vissing and Nicklas Aagaard. The Holsted squad isn’t an all-Danish affair as Tigers have also confirmed the signature of French international Steven Goret, who helped his country to its first FIM Speedway of Nations Final last season.
  8. You could ask Premier Sports support@premiersports.com They have in the past only announced Poland/Sweden in late March/early April.
  9. I would imagine there is little chance of any Championship PPV/Subscription match being available on a stream - certainly i didn`t see any notification of Edinburgh or Glasgow streams being available to watch unless purchased. As far as Sweden and Poland go- if Premier Sport weren`t such a tin pot organisation, only showing some of the matches and then not all live maybe more people would be happier to take out a Subscription. All Polish Speedway streams are available outside Poland) Div 2 on Motowizja was problematic on occasions), although not all streamers make them available to everyone. I once again in 2022 will be taking out a Fanseat subscription which allows me to watch every Swedish, Danish and French league match for less than Premier would charge me for a sub standard service.

  16. Tickets on sale because they have a promoter- and who would have thought " The event is set to reunite fans from across the UK and around the world and Paul Bellamy, chairman of Sidetrack Ltd, which runs the FIM British Speedway GP on behalf of Discovery Sports Events, can’t wait to see bikes roar back into the iconic Principality Stadium.
