  2. Not sure that i can agree that Clive Feltham was any friend to Speedway at all !!
  3. This competition features riders from Central European countries with rounds in 2019 staged in Hungary, Poland, Romania and Czech Rep. It looks as if riders also ride from Bulgaria, Slovakia and Ukraine. I know several British fans have an extensive list of tracks visited on their CV, so was wondering if Braila Romania has been crossed off any lists
  4. Pretty sure you have suggested the Tele 2 arena also in Stockholm as an alternative to the Friends arena in the past https://www.tele2arena.se/
  5. Think that might be frution- if it was tuition then he should have taught them
  6. Heat 1 Tilehurst stadium Reading Monday June 17th 1968 Reading v Nelson - race won by by the Admiral`s Fred Powell* the Racers Dene Davies was also in the race but demolished the fence and was ruled out of the meeting * This was the 1st home match for the Reading Racers. * courtesy of Arnie Gibbons " tears and glory"
  7. Wikipedia report that Alan was a big Speedway fan and he and the BBC covered the Wembley finals from 55 to 69
  8. Yes you are correct- Alan Weeks was pretty versatile- winter sports, football and Speedway occasionally.
  9. Just as well then that Arena leisure are a big Horse racing/Greyhound racing company
  10. Sorry Mike but can’t agree with you at all -Dave Rowe in my opinion is a top commentator, who knows Speedway inside out and never misses anything happening on track and because he uses Kandysoft software is always on top of permutations, qualification etc. I have to say that Nigel Pearson and Kelvin Tatum along with Dave Goddard all do a great job- we only have to think back to Jack Burnicle to realise that !!!
  11. Nothing confirmed, but i would say almost certainly and interestingly now that it’s back on Swedish TV( C More) they are now having a Tuesday and Thursday main match( 4 camera production) so we could get both matches shown here.
