It`s all very well having priority on Thursday`s but as i posted on the Swindon thread it`s going to need a carefully worked out Premiership fixture list not to pi$$ the riders off who ride Sweden and GB. It seems like the Swedish teams have 4/5 Thursday dates(see edit below). It is generally accepted that Swedish pay rates are around double the UK so riders will not be happy missing Swedish league matches !! Riders that could be effected are Thorssell Doyle Lambert Fricke J Holder Masters Batchelor Kurtz Woryna Klindt Tungate NKI Bjerre Edit just checked the teams Thursday`s matches and they are all over the place !!! 2 Smederna and Vastervik 4 Masarna,Indianerna,Rospiggarna, Vetlanda and Dackarna 5 Piraterna and Lejonen

If the Premiership teams want to pi$$ the riders off then arrange the meetings when they would like to be in Sweden !!!!!

Sweden might ok the use of R/R for riders riding Premiership on a Thursday.

There is going to have to be some clever fixture planning in the Premiership in 2019- GB has priority over Sweden on Thursdays. Take Jason Doyle as an example, Rospiggarna have 4 Thursday fixtures - can’t imagine he will be happy missing any of those matches because he is riding Premiership that night for about half the money(approx).

You are wrong on 2 counts !! firstly 2 Extraleague matches have always been shown live on Sunday’s - and in 2019 that doesn’t change plus 2 Nice Polska have also been shown live - the Uk times have been 12pm and 1.45pm for the Nice Polska and 4pm and 6.30pm for the Extraleague. the Extraleague no 8’s in 2019 can now guest for LOWER league clubs. There are NO guests in the Extraleague. If there is one thing i know about it’s Polish speedway !!

I Wasn’t talking about the Extraleague !!! Only one rider Ellis on that list of over 30 riders is riding Extraleague and possibly championship. There have been regularly 2 Nice Polska Tv matches on Sundays as well as the occasional Friday/ Saturday Nice Polska Tv matches hence the various % differences.

Wells will not ride for Sheffield- he is riding for Bydgoszcz on Sundays !!

Hence the OP - what should the BSPA do ?? These riders however are hardly 2nd raters as far as the Championship goes. It’s going to be really difficult to fill 12 teams with riders not included in the list !!

Potenially all of them- Nice Polska league(2nd Polish league) and 2nd div(3rd Polish tier) all ride on Sundays apart from some teams like Rawicz ride at home on Saturday’s - there are TV matches on Fridays and Saturday’s for teams who normally ride on Sunday’s.

I don`t- i see it as he is buying the clubs and paying over several seasons with additional payment(a wage) to messrs Rathbone and Louis to run the clubs for him.

With plenty of the Championship teams rider targets likely to contracted to riding in Polish teams on Saturday/ Sunday, is it not time for the BSPA/SCB to come up with a firm rule covering facilities for missing riders who are riding elsewhere. My view is any rider who wants to do Poland can only ride Premiership(no clash on Mondays/Thursday`s) - ie NO facility for a rider riding Polish league. Here is a list of riders contracted to Polish teams-only included those i would think might ride in Championship.Poland do use a squad system so some listed below are not guaranteed meetings over there.
