And with the locals in charge of track preperation instead of ole, should be great racing too.

Your best bet is Torun, trains leave Bydgoszcz 23-04 and 23-45 and take about an hour, Poznan is about 2 1/2 hours by train. Plus Torun is a much nicer place to stay than Bydgoszcz.

I thought the ullevi was supposed to be a semi permanent track, with kaparna having a few meetings to make sure it was ok, certainly needed after the last fiasco there. Are swemo intending to run something there to make sure track is ok. Or will they just wait for the inevitable rain on the night and start worrying then. So maybe Mr Snackette could tell us how much travel plus expect to make per passenger. Whilst i'm sure we all understand overheads etc, the differential does seem extreme. Since the advent of low cost airlines and the internet where everything can be sorted quite easily, one must question the sanity of anyone who wants to give a travel agent that much money, when in reality in can obviously be done for a third of the price.
