And hopefully you'll be on here tomorrow night , apologising after they have made fools of themselves and scunthorpe /sheffield . this is exactly the reason no british kids make the grade , they get frustrtated at being top of their game and then getting overlooked in favour of no hopers like the pair . I've seen both of them recently and the only thing they will make a mockery of is what you have posted .
Jayden O’Malley 15 (5 rides), Mirek Daniszewski 14+1 (5, Jordan Tyrer 7+2 (4), Oliver Greenwood 6+1
4 riders who deserve a shot , every one of them better than the 2 selected .
And I know for a fact that they have the phone no's of far better riders than these pair , Scunthorpe have shown there contempt for the paying public, and a total could not care less attitude to the standards of the national league . Good Luck to both of them if they both have the best of possible meetings they might even finish a race
russell has been at all the str meetings over the last 12 months and has moved back to these shoes so speedway espana despite the rantings of steve ribbons is a dead duck .
It won't really matter that schlein was given the place in preference to woodward because he won't qualify anyway , he is nothing like the rider that all the hype which surrounds him suggests
my Post may seem a bit harsh but at least it's realistic . speedway has never succeeded in spain and the spanish authorities are notorious for their red tape antics . I would certainly like to see russell succeeed like a lot of other people and have been visiting the speedway espana website to see any progress on a regular basis but since early last year very little has been said the site has not been updated and reading the last post on there it seemed to me that whatever the latest knockback was it was the final straw for russell who has no funds left and has no choice other than to give up .if he does succeed then i will be glad to eat my words and apologise but until then my opinion has not changed .none of the posting was meant as a personal slur against russell paine who has no doubt put his heart soul and bank balance on the line for his and claires dream but unfortunately thats all it sever likely to be .
Think the whole speedway espana thing was pie in the sky. The cancellation of the opening meeting had nothing to do with the mayor. The track was no where near ready and now it seems that they have run out of money and abandoned the project, if wimbledon got going again they could fetch the fence back and make use of it though because it will just go to waste if it's left out there in spain.
