It looked to me as if the track had been watered after every 4 heats, but perhaps I was seeing things like an oasis in a desert.
Seemed to me as if there was work going on in the breaks as not only did we get adverts but we got a lot of extra chat as well from Sam and Gary before the racing was resumed.
Hi Gem's, I must have been blinded by Gary's obvious homage to the 70's to have thought about the water, twas dusty tho eh? xx

the whole Ole and Nicki dislike each other thing is an old story and certainly one fit for WWE ......... in fact everything Nicki does in the pits seems to be fit for WWE ...... he seems to spend more time worrying about performing in front of the cameras than sorting out the real problem which is his slow machinery

We aren't talking wigs and make up here, let's be honest Fox and Mulder are not on the case of this this non profit making 'farce' that you assume, I can agree that speedway does need 'sexing up' bit let's be honest a dry track is not the way to go, Pammy A in Leathers or Brad Pitt certainly becoming a fan would pull in the punters more. This conspiracy theory is a bit 'dry'...er hum ....

Anyone seen Omar Sharif? All we needed was camels! The only thing missing from tonite was the sand castles. How come we got a blue line on the track? No grading, no water, no nothing. Nicki P screaming at Ole Olsen puts to bed the conspiracy theories that he prepares the tracks for the danes.

Heheheh. Bless. It was a generally good evening's racing, not too exciting. But the T shirt never lies, and Nicki stormed home to victory.
I suspect the fact that Sky Sports did keep talking about Crump only served to annoy him further, which let's be honest is about the best reason to go out there and whoop someones ass big style. Not only that it also served another purpose, it gave the Crumpet a bloody good kick up the ass when The Spiky Nik Nak wouldn't shake his hand. Competition and rivalry, sometimes it rocks...Shame about Bommber, I like it when he does well. He punches the ground.
On the other hand, the smiley loveliness of Greg Hancock and his overall genuine talent and good natured comments makes him a great ambassador for the sport...But as we all know life just isn't like that...
So hurrah for the Spiky Nick Nak and his hairdryers, who knows the more he wins the more hairdryers that will appear.

First time poster here. Hi to my father who introduced me to Speedway AND the forum. How on earth could a ref exclude someone for what was going on BEHIND him???? Odd odd odd! Great racing though. Thrills n spills. I was a big Nikki P fan up until I watched him not drag his sorry arse from the grit and get outta the way so the race could continue. But hey...It's not gonna stop me from cheering him next time. I'll swindle a sweepstake to get Nikki P but I really felt for Bjarnie P and Leigh Adams. I thought he was gonna cry...The ref should be called to answer his critics at least?????
