  1. No Could be the final nail in the coffin for some fans. Wolfie
  2. It will be interesting to see how Klindt copes with the tight Rye House track as he struggles with Monmore Green which is not as demanding. Wolfie
  3. I think PK should be included in preference to Wells because he will improve his starting average - 5.51 - by more than Wells - 5.91 - will. Wolfie
  4. Has NKI confirmed he is riding in the UK next year? Wolfie
  5. You first need reserves that are likely to move up - and we are lacking as much in that department as everywhere else Wolfie
  6. I don't rate Thorssell - but rate Barker even less. I wouldn't want either of them in my team for next year but of the two I would prefer Thorssell. Wolfie
  7. According to the final Green Sheets Hans isn't one of Coventry's heat leaders so seems a good move by Poole. Wolfie
  8. On the official site Mr Adams is talking about significant changes at Wolves over the Winter. Looks like they will be re siting the burger van then Wolfie
  9. A minority of Cradley fans have always been like that dating right back to the 1970s. Unfortunately it is always the minority that tar the majority with a bad reputation but they don't help the situation of the club. Wolfie
  10. Being one of the very few fans who now follow the team home and away, and the amount of time, energy and hard earned money I put into watching the team each year I feel I am entitled to express an opinion on here. There is nothing wrong with my attitude towards the team, unlike a certain rider from 2014 who treated both the team and the fans with contempt. I have heard a few stories from that year concerning that rider in particular from reliable sources which bear out his poor attitude - but they are best kept off here. If he decides he wants to give the correct amount of dedication and show the proper attitude towards the team he would be a welcome addition - but that seems to be a way off as he clearly shows his dedication is elsewhere and not interested in Wolves. I want a team of riders who want to ride for Wolves and put everything into riding for Wolves. We had a very poor 2015, and it is hard to see what is going to change in 2016 unless the riders we already have show a resurgence in form - because there are very few riders about that are better than them that are likely to sign for us. Realistically, we shouldn't keep either Wells or Thorsell as they have averages that are too high for their ability in the team. Freddie and PK are options on their averages but since they have shown they can't cope in the heat leader roles which they are likely to occupy again in 2016, do we keep them? Musielak is obviously way out of his class. Bates has been a disappointment really. Having said all that and torn the team apart where do the realistic replacements come from? We are in a real mess if the EL stays as it is. Wolfie
  11. I'm not sure Wolves fans would be falling over themselves to have either back It would also be interesting to know what proportion of the crowd at the British Final that were cheering Tai were Wolves fans - I know a lot of Wolves fans who didn't go to the meeting. Tai might be popular with British fans but personally I don't think there are many Wolves fans amongst them. As you say TS I think Tai still thinks that everything is rosey with the Wolves fans and him which is very unfortunate - but then I don't think he would be that bothered - much in line with his 2014 performances Wolfie
  12. He has been forgotton by most Wolves fans - don't think you will find many who still think of him as a Wolves rider. Wolfie
  13. If that is true it is good news - a bit more variety, but hopefully they will not make it one home and away otherwise nothing will be gained. No doubt there will be another overall weakening of teams, which may be by natural effect if some more of the top riders give the UK a miss as is rumoured. Something has to be done to make the League larger with more meetings as it cannot viably stay as it is. Wolfie
  14. Rumour is that it isn't the Lakeside EL licence. Maybe Eastbourne's? Whichever it is , this is good news - lets hope it is a sign of a bigger EL for 2016 with more meetings. Wolfie
  15. Personally I can't see him being back either for Wolves or Poole. Again personally Poole would be welcome to him if she shows the same lack of commitment as he did for Wolves in 2014 - the odds are that the Poole management wouldn't be as patient with him as Wolves were if that was the case. Wolfie
  16. You must have been watching a different Wolves team to the rest of us if you think they are one of the in form teams in the country Wolfie Do you think next year will be any better if the EL stays as it is? I can't see any decent rider wanting to join us to ride on a Monday under the EL set up. Time for major changes league wise Wolfie
  17. Musielak isn't worth hanging onto. He was very fortunate to score as many as he did on Wednesday and if he hadn't fallen off on the last bend Ashley Morris would have beaten him in Heat 4. There is no doubt that a complete clear out is justified but just where are the replacements going to come from? The harsh truth is that there are very few suitable riders who want to ride in England on Mondays. The EL is dead and a drastic restructure is required. Somehow we need to structure the League in Britain based around riders who are based over here and want to ride in Britain. I know this wouldn't be easy, and would involve a considerable watering down of the league but speedway isn't viable in its current form and is dying on its feet. Wolfie
  18. Thanks for the nomination TS I am due to be booked into the Psychiatric Clinic soon It has been sometime since I have seen such a series of woeful performances. What is clear that is is going to be hard to find any replacements from abroad who want to ride for a Monday track in Britain so we may be stuck with what we have until the end of the season unfortunately. I have heard a rumour that Coventry may be interested in Zengota if he is released by Swindon and can't say that I fancy Howarth any better than what we have already so the Swindon lead probably won't come to much. Wolfie
  19. Please Help - number one speedway rider gone missing in the Leicester area - answers to the name of Fast Freddie Lindgren
  20. Spot on with the analysis of the track. The final score flattered a bit with the last heat 5-1 - although Wells scored a lot of points he was not very impressive for me. Wolfie
  21. Yes the track must have been good as it is the first time I haven't seen the blue groove develop on bend one for many a year The crowd was the lowest I've seen at Poole for sometime so maybe the Poole fans have begun voting with their feet over their team and their poor run at home up until tonight. No doubt they will come flooding back when Ward returns Wolfie
  22. Just got in from Lakeside - what a result !! As the riders lined up me and two others of the total 6 Wolves fans there were just hoping PK could win heat 14 and give us a good chance of a point. The track came to us at the right time - we gated in the last two heats and Lakeside didn't when the track was at its slickest. Nevertheless a great performance by PK and Freddie in the last gave us the points. I can't remember the last time we came from 6 points down with 2 heats left to win away, and it was great being there to experience it. PK, Freddie and Lewis were great, Josh tried hard and scored vital points, Musielak came good when it mattered, but Ricky and Jacob struggled. At one stage it was looking like a hefty defeat but turned into a most unexpected win. Wolfie
