  1. Yes of course I am aware, but I believe that he has the charisma and determination to overcome such a hurdle. There is no better way to challenge him than by throwing him in the deep end in a tough World Cup match. I believe he has what it takes, maybe if people were less negative on this forum British Speedway would be a lot better! Why not try supporting Adam in the future instead!
  2. I am glad we agree on this, Scotts family are certainly a terrific bunch of people. That is why I was congratulating them on motivating Scotty so well for the Grand Prix last Saturday. Hopefully they do so again for the Danish round! Those of you who are abusing me should maybe take a leaf out of my book and support the British riders next time instead of staying on their backs! And to the poster above me who thinks stifling free speech is OK, he obviously doesn't understand how a forum community should operate. Would you like to see a list of rules, offering opinions you are allowed to give and opinions you aren't? I can only imagine you have an agenda against Scott Nicholls, and as a British hero, he should be supported all the way.
  3. A huge hearty congratulations to Scott and his family for the excellent performance on Saturday. I know his confidence has been low recently but that one point he scored on saturday could really turn his season round. I think performances like this really show Scott has world champion material written all over him and I fully expect him to show this off in the next round! Well done Scotty!
  4. Well apologies for having an opinion. I don't know what young Adam has done to offend you, or what agenda you have against him, but I'm a big fan and think the way he's riding at the moment should make him a shoe in for the World Cup squad.
  5. Doh! How could I forget this guy, if anyone has the look, grace and charm to play for the UK in the World Cup, it is this man.
  6. With Great Britains semi final approaching, who would you call up for the big race? Riders competing at this level require a number of things, notably finesse and grace, an electrifying personality, the look and the mechanical knowledge of a bike to boot. It is also vital you have an inspirational captain - and for this role I find it difficult to look beyond Dale Lamb. The man really is the total package and could bravely lead the UK into such a vital match. For the rest of the team I would also consider Adam Roynon, who is in the form of his life as well as Scott Nichols. I'd also find it hard to exclude the immensely talented Chris Harris, and lets not forget Mark 'Buzz' Burrows, who appears to be finally ready to fulfill his immense potential at the tender age of 50. Edit - I'm aware I have left out Tai Woffinden from the squad, but this is only because of the way he let down and embarassed the squad at the Last World Cup, and it appears to me that he is already past his prime and out of his depth at this level.
