Glasgow v Berwick BSN cup 18/4/25@19.30
lewy replied to Paulco's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I can see boughen quitting speedway for a while,he needs time out and a reboot imo. -
Assets are no longer a thing.
-
Anyone think lewi kerr will be dropped to bring Ben cook back when he's fit?
-
You maybe right, however there is also a very strong chance the promotion have made a wrong decision it does happen even at Poole
-
More lies, isn't Poole's captain a Plymouth asset or should I say was
-
I understand your view, however I disagree with it the track is much improved and generally the better riders like it, ask sam masters or indeed any of the Oxford team, barker's crash was purely pilot error and if the track was wider he would have still ended up in the airbags. Track has been improved the last 2 winters let's see what the general consensus is at the end of season . There has been alot of negative stuff about a few tracks already this season bumpy, too slick, too grippy etc. This season Plymouth’s track is really smooth as for prep it can't be to grippy because most riders at championship level wouldn't be able to ride it,however it does now definitely develop different lines as I'm I'm sure we will witness against Glasgow our next home fixture.

Riders are no longer considered assets of clubs
lewy replied to bigdave's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Imo a good thing, should encourage or make it easier for new clubs to get started or former clubs to comeback and not have to pay loan fees to the sports fat cats. -
It's in the speedway news and discussions section.

Not daft at all, it's been explained elsewhere on the forum so need to repeat. Just read the forum!
-
Ask a grown up to buy it for you and get your carer to read it to you.
-
Speedway star.
-
Never said it wouldn't.
-
So Poole's asset Base isn't worth anything now, maybe they will develop more home grown talent rather than invest in Aussies, swedes and Danes. Big loss of revenue for Poole.
-
I know

For everyone information gladiatorphil is not a supporter of Plymouth Speedway, in fact more the opposite,he's banned from the Plymouth track by the promotion and has a real chip on his shoulder because of this, people do not get banned very often but the promotion felt strongly enough to do this because of his behaviour. So please do not take his posts seriously as he does have an agenda.

You are in no position to say whether a rider is an expensive gamble or not as you have no idea how much they are costing or what deal they are getting, so unless you have inside knowledge best to keep quiet.

lewy replied to SteveLyric2's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Plymouth beat Poole with only 5 riders contributing against Poole's 6 riders. More to come from Plymouth watch this space! -
It was a bit rude to be fair apologies Darren. Got alot on in work atm but if I get rained off I may come up. I'll pm you on here if I do and gladly buy you a drink.

What is it to do with you,if I am it would be great to not meet up as I really don't want to meet you.
-
Amazing how little its changed.
-
Parking is available at the track, £2 is charged I would say this is your best option
