Last night was generally gate 'n' go apart from maybe 3 heats. Think if Sheffield gate tonight, can't see anything other than a Tigers win.

Thursday they cited at tonight's meeting was no no. 1 still, Basso's likely ongoing injury, Klindt still out (but might be fit before the end of the season(?!)) and then Kvech's issue with the Polish match, combined with 6 or the 7 teams riding on Thursday and the subsequent lack of guests. The way it was announced a couple of times/tone of the announcement gave me the impression that it was more likely to be off than on.

The announcement was that they are looking to postpone Thursday due to 4 riders missing (TM,BB,NK and Kvech who has a Polish match). They are in discussions with authorities and Belle Vue.

Hi there, This question initially seemed to recent at first to put in 'Years Gone By' but then I realised it was over a decade ago! Anyway, I believe Peterborough won the 1999 Craven Shield but can anyone tell me who it was against. I have a feeling it was Coventry but I can't be completely sure. Can anyone confirm this and, even better, tell me who was riding for both teams that night? Thanks!
