Think Zaine would be on a 4 in premiership
Averages from Championship get converted if they haven’t raced in the Premiership.

Could possibly be Bastian Borke on a 3.23 average converted from his Championship average for Berwick 👀

I would imagine a lot of meetings will be a foregone conclusion before the latter stages (home meetings only)
Ht 1 - 4-2
Ht 2 - 4-2 (8-4)
Ht 3 - 3-3 (11-7)
Ht 4 - 2-4 (13-11)
Ht 5 - 3-3 (16-14)
Ht 6 - 5-1 (21-15)
Ht 7 - 3-3 (24-18)
Ht 8 - 5-1 (29-19)
Ht 9 - 4-2 (33-21)
Ht 10 - 4-2 (37-23)
Ht 11 - 2-4 (39-27)
Ht 12 - 4-2 (43-29)
Ht 13 - 1-5 (44-34)
Ht 14 - 5-1 (49-35
Ht 15 - 2-4 (51-39)
I think 51-39, 50-40 and 49-41 will be very likely home results for Lynn next season
This is wishful thinking 🤣🤣🤣🤣

They won’t announce the full team tomorrow, they never do. I suspect this order
Friday 15th November - Klindt
Monday 18th November - Iversen
Tuesday 19th November - Kvech
Wednesday 20th November - Harris
Thursday 21st November - Lawson
Friday 22nd November - Cook
lol

I find that hard to believe for 2 reasons:
1) does that mean Lynn are paying for Harris' mechanic? Most people on the forum say Buster doesn't like paying much
2) what was the team plan when they wanted Harris? Did they have to go back to Woffinden or Pickering & say "actually Harris is too expensive for us, we want you after all"?
Believe what you want for all I care, I’m not lying😂😂😂😂
This was before the 7 for next season we’re all signed and before Harris signed for KL.
-
Harris was signed for next season, until he decided he wanted the club to pay for his mechanic… which then both parties parted ways.

What do you want a medal? This is all a bit daft isn’t? Why stop at top 4? Ipswich have a stronger top 2, Sheffield have a stronger top 3, and a stronger top 4, Ipswich will possibly/probably have a stronger top 5 and the one that really matters, I think Ipswich will definitely have a stronger top 7!
Ask your mate Gavan, he’s the one who sparked the debate!

Is it the strongest top 4….. Doyle Emil Brennan and Ellis similar
Rew will do better than Rowe
Dan T and Jenkins are better than Gilkes and Flint
It’s an ok Sheffield side and will make the play offs but doesn’t look like a championship winning one …..
Then again anything can happen in speedway
It is the strongest 4 yes.
J Holder 8.85
Woffinden 8.67
C Holder 8.79
Pickering 6.74
Total: 33.05
Sayfudtinov 9.12
Doyle 9.36
Brennan 6.76
Ellis 5.61
Total: 30.85
Debate over.

Top 4 need to get 40+ points each week be it home or away to have any chance, so weak at 2 and 6, basically riding with 3 reserves 🙈😳
I agree. It’s a huge risk! Although saying that Anders Rowe is really going places next season.

Sheffield Tigers 2025:
1. Jack Holder
2. Anders Rowe
3. Chris Holder
4. Josh Pickering (C)
5. Tai Woffinden
6. Dan Gilkes
7. Leon Flint

Aces - Mulford
Stars - Jenkins
Tigers - Gilkes
Witches - Edwards
Lions - Hagon
Brummies - Flint
Spires - Killeen, as they’ll have Boughen at 6
(Those are my guesses… Flint won’t be at number 6 for Sheffield, as Rowe is)
Rowe is Sheffield’s number 2. So you could most likely be wrong.

And Ipswich were still clear at the top despite missing Doyle since May. It was the Emil absence which then saw the club win only one (Leicester H in play offs) of the last 10 meeting in League and Cup. The club struggled for guests and used rider replacement in a lot of those meetings also. The teams being put out were way under strength quite frankly. Whether you want to admit it or not, Ipswich were the best team in the league this year and would have finished top, not Sheffield. I’m sorry but that’s undeniable. Is it Sheffields fault? Of course not. You simply took advantage of another club’s misfortune and that’s fair game. We scraped by without one heatleaders, as you did with Woffinden, but losing two killed the season stone dead.
As ever though, rather than get all precious about it, you’re completely missing the point of my post unsurprisingly. @szkocjasid Said there was nothing wrong with the strategy of the way you built your team, and used the fact you finished top of the table as evidence that it worked. My point was very simple, that just by glancing at the finished table doesn’t tell the whole story and gives a false sense of achievement because you can’t rely on other clubs losing their whole top end every year. That’s just common sense. If you stick with the same reserve pairing next year you’ll win nothing. It isn’t good enough.
Like I said, butt hurt.

The top 5 that I mentioned is a done deal if the limit is 40.
Howarth to Leicester is also a done deal.
Forget coming up with any other team declarations!

Because that doesn’t tell the whole story does it? They finished top and won the KOC by taking advantage of another clubs injury woes. Nothing wrong with that before you say, but they wouldn’t have done either if Ipswich were at full strength which papers over the cracks somewhat and makes Sheffield look a tad stronger than they actually were. Ipswich had already beaten Sheffield at their place once, and were on course to do so again until Emil crashed and that was even without Doyle. IMO the Sheffield fans are right to be sceptical about the make up of a similar side. They were vulnerable at reserve and you can’t rely on others getting injuries to their whole top end every year. I personally think a strong top two is essential to be successful, a strong top 3 not so much. I’d be picking two from three of the top end and then get in a stronger number 6.
You sound very butt hurt about Sheffield winning something and Ipswich not winning anything

Sheffield top 5 next season:
1. Jack Holder
2. Anders Rowe
3. Chris Holder
4. Josh Pickering (C)
5. Tai Woffinden
Howarth on his way to Leicester.

Holder hasnt been great in the GP's for the last 2-3 so maybe he is just not quite up to his usual standards, I saw him at the NSS at the end of Augst he was great and he scored well in the return that night.
BV had their gating boots on that night - Kurtz for example flew out of gate 3 in heat 1! Gate3!!!
They’ve worked on gate 3 at owlerton and it’s working much better now. Gate 4 is suddenly an issue!!

Woofy said in Thursday's programme that he's hoping to stay with Sheffield next year. Following the semi-final debacle, I think Jack may be the sacrificial lamb. Woofy, Bomber and the elder Holder sounds like a good heat-leader combo to me. We must keep Picko and Kyle at all costs, with (maybe) Jye Etheridge at no. 6. How do those averages add up?
Why keep Howarth at all costs? He’s been garbage majority of meetings this season.

I think Howarth has had his day at Sheffield now, he’s been a great servant to the club but I think a move away would suit both parties. He has been very inconsistent this season, at times getting beat by rising stars and much lesser riders who with no disrespect he should be absolutely thrashing.
I was told Woffinden was coming back next season but now it’s up in the air.
I wouldn’t have Jason Edwards back either, his style of riding does not suit the owlerton circuit one bit, he seems to lack bottle around the faster/ bigger tracks and seems to get beat up, bullied and passed by opposing riders far too easily.1. J Holder
2. ???
3. Harris
4. Pickering
5. Woffinden
6. Rowe
7. Gilkes/Foord RS

Sad news for Jason.
Replacement needed.. But isn't it ironic how much you lot moaned and moaned about Sheffields replacements and guest bookings last season and now half of you are even mentioning Lambert after slating him during the play-offs.. mind you he said how bad the foxhall track is himself on Eurosport so can't see him coming.
Good luck finding a replacement.

Nicholls alluded to the difference in team spirit between the two clubs. Not once in heats 13 & 15 did Woofinden look for his team mate, whereas Emil & Doyley did. Surely Woofinden had to try and slow the race down not just go off into the distance. Now that Milik has been dropped maybe he will end up at Sheffield as Howarth's place must be in doubt.
Hard enough trying to slow 1 rider up around sheffield never mind both Emil Sayfudtinov and Jason Doyle. I’ve never read so much drivel in all my life get back to bed you imbecile.

No as in main body of team at start of season I believe that means you opt out of the RS scheme for that season, so Edwards cannot be at number 7 through 2024
We all know Mr Bates will be able to manipulate this somehow
Zischke in on a 3.00
Edwards down to RS
Janowski in for Howarth
