Sad day for newport hornets, they have provided some great riding over the seasons, I hope all riders find a new club for the 2012 season and they all have a successful future. Well done to the newport promotion for giving young british riders a chance to ride at a competitive level

Just wanted to wish Karl Mason all the very best for his future as last nights meeting and Belle Vue was his last one! Such a lovely genuine rider who always had time for everyone. Will be missed at many tracks

Hope all these riders make a very speedy recovery, hoping for no more injuries tonight! Good luck & well done to Richie and david holt stepping in

Great effort by both teams, a good deubt from brendan and a kurtz max hes definatley improving, think steve jones is someone who tries too hard and ends up falling off! Nice to see james white williams winning a few

Should be a close meeting, hoping for great deubts from Brendan and Steven both very approachable guys safe meeting for all riders

Don't think newport will win tonight but i'm sure they will give them a good run Todd and Jay will be top scorers I think with mattie bates following close behind ! Hoping for a safe enteraining meeting

Full credit to all riders and track staff (they deserve a medal), must've been very horrid riding on a track where u can't see anything! Glad no one was seriously injured. A draw was good enough considering the circumstances

Definatley the right decision from the management hopefully both teams are back to their winning ways which will draw in more fans! Just got to keep promoting speedway more (in schools, colleges, supermarkets or wherever) !!

A shame newport lost but score line couldve been worse! Well done to Jay herne and Todd kurtz a very strong pairing and congratulations to Todd for breaking the NL track record how did the track fair seems as it was an afternoon meeting? Thoughts are with Ben Reade for a speedy recovery sounded a nasty crash

What are the admission prices for the Hornets meetings this season? Seen it in the speedway star but can't remember!

Can't wait for this meeting hopefully the track is just as good in the day as in the night and hope the weather is great too! All the hornets seem ready to go racing which is good, any news on whether jay herne will be fit for this meeting? Will be great to see Tim and TA back at newport too
