Just chuck All the names of the teams in a box and let the ref pick out the winner would save a lot of time lol Another meeting where fans are left hanging about with no one knowing what’s going on it s laughable frustrating and bloody annoying.the fans there could and should have seen a run off

Only my 3rd meeting this year .some good racing has said above involving king with Kerr and Ellis riding hard but fair. Doyle a class act and nice to see him ride in Britain hope he s back next year good to see riders like mountain racing against him. Holder love him or hate him it’s good that he ll be back riding here again next year we need more gp riders here racing for a full season. Was also good to meet the great Peter Collins and get a signed copy of his autobiography all in all a good night .

Got mine tonight at Sheffield. Was great to meet Peter and have him sign the book ,will be reading it this weekend at our caravan in north wales

He s my idea for next year .when the teams have been finalised and the fixtures are out at the beginning of the season let’s get all the team captains in 1 room .go through the fixtures tossing a coin to see who wins and who losers.the top 2 teams then can go into the play off final to decide the champions.it gives the 2 promotors all season to get 2 meetings done .forget running the league cup and the pairs it could prove too much . It’s just a thought lol

I ve not got a problem with the result Belle Vue won Sheffield lost that’s it done people on here have all got their own opinions and are going to be discussing it for a few weeks but nothing going to change the result

Think this threads going to go on for sometime with differing views from the Sheffield and Belle Vue fans .My view is that Belle Vue were always going to win when they signed R Lambert.With M fricke in the side I am sure Sheffield would have won.But hey ho it’s done .Hope everyone that turned up enjoyed both meeting s .Me personally I am not a lover of the play offs and have lost a lot of enthusiasm for the sport , only been to 2 meetings this year . Watched most of the gps on the tv but being in the beat the bookie Comp run by R/R keep s that interesting lol.

Agree the team that finished top should be the league champions they have proved themselves over the season to be the best . But I would do away with knockout cup as it is now and replace it with the playoffs you have to finish in the top 4 to qualify to be in it . As it is now finishing 3rd and being crowned champions dos nt sit right with me the only stumbling block on this is that all the league matches have to be completed before the cup playoffs could take place meaning the idiot s in charge need to get there act together lol

Think the lead belle vue have will be enough lambert should get 14 / 15 one ride and he ll be dialed In .Zagar should get 13 or more if Wright is out and he can take 1 of his rides .Kurtz if he s gating can go through the card at Sheffield so will allow him 10 ish dos nt leave too much for the others to get .the sighing of lambert a master stroke ,for me he s the man who s got the title for belle vue

Hopefully Sheffield will keep it close tonight to make the 2 nd leg interesting unfortunately can t see anything but a big belle vue win the signing of lambert takes the pressure to score big off Zagar and also Kurtz so expect both to easily be in double figures tonight.Also expect them both to score better in the 2 nd leg at Sheffield than they did in the league meetings imo

Expected it to be closer over the 2 legs but Sheffield winning at wolves definitely knocked the fight out of wolves saw wolves earlier in the season and they put up more of a fight Belle Vue for me start as favourites the signing of Lambert being the key it makes them stronger imo expect belle vue to win at home then solid performance s from Zagar and Wright at Sheffield the key riders for me will be how blodorn and Kurtz.if Kurtz has got his gating gloves on it could be game over for Sheffield hopefully we will see some good racing at both tracks with no injuries

People moaning about belle vue bringing in lambert for the play offs . Simple answer do away with the play offs team finishing top wins the league just got to make sure that all matches are completed

I don’t fancy Sheffield to get past wolves over the 2 legs think it will be closer than people think Could nt see anyone stopping belle vue before lambert but now they should walk it over 2 legs
