Peterborough Panthers 2016

Building a point under the limit...... And Ully at 1. Mmmmm -
Things was said in the heat of the moment, a ban is ridiculous, other members get away much worse, but I guess peer pressure in forcing the moderators hand made this decision take place.

Any Takers For The Elite League?
Panthers89 replied to Hamish McRaker's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Wouldnt mind it if the Panthers eventualy ended up being back in the Elite League, but rules need looking at massively before the moment any team is interested in taking the plunge to the Average league. -
Not this old chestnut........... Riders do motocross to re/gain fitness and also keep on the bike, to keep there bodies used to going on bikes, accidents could happen anywhere, if he went running and broke his arm, you would moan, if he went shopping, and tripped and broke his arm, you would moan.... accidents are part and parcel of life.

Perhaps so, but will Simon even get to where MPT starts this season at? At worse MPT will reach 6.50 -

Never, why lose MPT, he has the potential to reach a 7.00 point average atleast I've said IF we have to lose a rider due not being able to sign a number 1, bit different really. -

So if we signed a rider on a 7.00 average and have 1.50 to sign another rider, who do you release? Grondal..... No MPT..... No NBJ..... No Come on? It's common sense, can Simon up his average by a point like those 3 could? Not in my eyes. I think Simon can consolidate his place but not improve massively. He done bloody brilliant last season and it would be a shame if we had to lose anyone but for the TEAM purposes it would have to be done. -

IF we have too, we have to ditch Lambert, yes its harsh, but for the good of the team, if it needs to happen, then so be it. -
Riding for Cradley I believe

Christ that's a signing out the blue!

Not knocking him at all, they have saved our club and everything to date has been brilliant, but riders pull out of deals so interesting to know what's happening. Will we know before Christmas.... -

Then should never of signed Simon Lambert -
Best team so far.
-
Most average Somerset side in a long long time! Need Allen, BWD and Zak to add 1.5 points each really, as Wright and Starke have peaked IMO, and Rohan and Josh up and down.
-
Still, only a year, Kerr isnt the future, but is certainly a bigger talent than both Roynon/Lambert.

Completely agree, and Havvy SNR isnt the sharpest tool around either, just hope we have something lined up. -

Havvy SNR has stated that there are no 8.50 riders around anywhere, so will be building a team under the limit. So do we have a secret weapon or are we as equally screwed? -
Batch is a decent signing on that average, bound to up it, that's guaranteed, so what more do you want? I'd rather have 7 'meh' riders who will up there averages than 7 'wowza' riders who sum do and some don't. Upping averages wins titles, simples

High 7's to low 8's I reckon end of season. But a few riders for Plymouth could hit that average, so wont be too bad for them.
-
Lewis Kerr not riding for Lynn next season, as a clash with the Witches, so your still using Lewis by the sounds of it, as Kerr on the look for another Elite league club.
-
IF was MJJ, would be a superb signing, as took a liking to Norfolk in his first visit. Main problem, you gain an absolute cock for a fan, who will pester you all hours about the great dane. Still, rather you than us.
-
If Gjedde can maintain his average, Devils will be right up near the top IMO

Find one then...... I hope we haven't built from the bottom up and missed out on potential targets.
