Erm I'm well aware of there being more to speedway than gate and go! I'm perhaps one of the few fans who would prefer to see a team being beat at home if it meant there was some good quality over taking throughout the meeting! Something which was missing from the majority of speedway I witness this year!

You are all keen to mention the away meetings- and fair enough, I wasn't there (apart from local derbies) to cast my opinion. All I'm saying tho is at home, where he should be at his best, I am miffed to see where all the high praise is coming from, but thats just one opinion. X While we're on the subject, Doyle is another one I don't understand the hype about!

Completely agree here, I don't remember a stand out race of his from last season, infact come to think of it I can't even recall his riding style or colour of leathers!!!

Not gonna be able to be at the thing on Friday, but if anyone else agrees can you pipe up that under 18's should get reduced rate entry, perhaps 16-18 year olds £5, cheers.

Sorry for expressing views on a forum! A public forum I add! I have no reason to speak to the promotion, namely because I doubt anything would be done about it! And secondly because I wouldn't know how to go about contacting them to speak to them? I think if they were at all interested in fans views they would of produced some sort of way for fans to air their views in a productive sense!!!!!

I think it was perhaps light hearted fun! Maybe need to chill out a bit? Or perhaps go back into bed and try getting out the otherwise ***otherside***

How about getting students from Berwick Academy involved? I'm not sure what A levels they do, but could the speedway not get involved somehow? for example if there's a photography A level then put it to the school that pupils could get experience by being allowed on centre green to take pics? A music A level, how about being in dj box? Hospitality A level, ask for ideas from the pupils, Art A level , design some posters etc. all of this may seem pointless to some, but to me it shows an jnterest in the community, young people and could be a way if generating more interest and perhaps introduce more people to speedway.

An idea I think music wise would be asking a different rider at the beginning of each week to choose songs/artists they'd like to hear played. Gives a few days to get a playlist sorted, then bobs your uncle! Paves the way for varied music! Summer months a barbecue and outside bar on third bend area? Some picnic tables?

It's only my opinion, and yeah Dennis may do a lot if work, but all I'm saying is is that the announcing, presentation needs to be made modern, and exciting! Granted we are there to watch speedway, but these days entertainment means being constantly entertained- therefore included pre, during and to an extent post meeting

Well he isn't the only problem here, the dj should be getting some stick too! Plus the drole announcement of line ups and race results! All and all the presentation hasn't really changed since berrington lough days

What about introducing riders from each team number by number? ie both number 1's come out of the pits on their bikes, do a lap of the track and so on till number 7 rider? A bit more exciting than a line of riders standing looking unimpressed In relation to Dick I think, and I mean this in no derogatory sense I add, that he is out of touch, behind the times, and all in all pretty cringey! Many not so many students in the academic sense, but plenty student age people going about the town! Perhaps if the student ideas not feasible, perhaps charging a £1-2 for anyone aged 16-18 might draw some younger blood in, but again it can be added that many wouldn't come back for a second visit if the meetings are presented the way they currently are.

No I don't know any teenagers with money / but I do know younger people who could put ideas across and make suggestions! With regards ideas I think the first start would be the presentation of a meeting - bewitched being played is a big no no!! It needs excitement added, a build up, marketed as an extreme sport, student deals, drink deals etc
