Looking to the play-offs it seems Vinnie Foord could be a busy boy?!

Why is the Glasgow Promotion keeping quiet regarding a possible new signing ??
Do they have someone, or are we being blocked to sign anyone because the Speedway Management Committee (POOLE (Ford) EDINBURGH (Campbell) and SCUNNY (Godfrey) ) are blocking any signing.
Will we have to use Guests from now until the end of the season ???
Neither Matt nor Danny Ford are on the 'Management Committee'/ Executive Board!

Kennett should have had 7 rides tonight. Fantastic meeting, but one that got away. Middlo is now required away I think.
A bit too far to come.....from Riga!

There appears to be no interest in this meeting from the Bandits supporters,so here goes.
It's a patched up Pirates team with 3 guests and R/R for Zach Cook.
Last time at Shielfield it was in the knockout Cup and a 20 point thumping.
Berwick are formidable at home this season and so it will be a tough task for Poole.
Thoughts?
3 former Pirates and 3 current Pirates! 50-40 with Poole getting the aggregate point to stay top of the Championship.

Are you secretly his wife? Richard said this Richard said that. He’s soooo dreamy. He been missing for both Poole And Ipswich. I get why a Poole fan might not be that botherd yet. But I can completely understand why the Ipswich fans are annoyed.
Yet? He is number one at both clubs and has only missed a couple of meetings for good reason. Poole fans clearly don't use the same vitriolic criticism as Ippo fans.

Then I sincerely apologise, I’ve had gastroenteritis. It’s awful. However It neither magically appears just before a meeting then disappears on command. It must be brilliant to see the world with a rose tint.
He had it before he was due to go to Denmark. He didn't travel so Brovst said he was injured. He started the journey to Leicester but only got so far before contacting the track and returning home.

From what i heard he was asked to make his way to the stadium by the management so Ipswich could get him signed off and run IRR, instead he refused and turned round and went home so Ipswich had to use Freddy Hodder is his place.
I think run was the operative word!

again from memory so I might be wrong, it was an away meeting with Leicester.
Gastroenteritis! He was en route to Leicester, rang them and they told him to go back home. His Danish club said he was 'injured' to satisfy their rules.

There's is always two sides to a story and it depends which fence you sit on and too whom you believe.
Lawson's got nothing to gain from lying - he's already suspended!

Off the top of my head missed a Poole meeting to ride Denmark then didn’t ride and missed an Ipswich meeting because he was apparently a bit poorly, then road Denmark the following day.
When did Ipswich ride on a Tuesday' because Danish league is on Wednesdays

Missing the point
Lawson has messed us around before … isn’t a team player and isn’t liked by the other riders much
Nobody is suggesting you don’t put your family first …. But to let the team down at nearly 5pm is wrong
He isn’t liked at Ipswich but I’ve no issue if he is good as gold for Poole
Doesnt do parade and doesn’t come round after the meeting either
i think Ipswich and the fans have had enough
So another different time from an Ippo poster!! You couldn't make it up, or maybe you could>!

You are a wind up merchant Neil.
Lawson confirms he informed Ipswich at 3pm yesterday despite all rumours to the contrary!!

Yes and next week maybe Danny King.
Or maybe Bomber to make up for last time?!

Vast majority of Ipswich fans want him gone
He may be fine for Poole but not for us
Maybe now Poole fans won’t see him through rose tinted specs
I think you are misreading the signs!! The vast majority of Ipswich want YOU gone!
Poole fans see him as their number 1 who top scores most meetings in most track conditions. He takes his place for the parade so fans aren't that bothered that he may have only arrived at the track a few meetings before.

I believe woryna would be a 7.50 this year as only first season in GP but would increase to an 8.00 assessed if not signed till next year which would be his second in GP looking at assessed rules
If so he would fit as a straight swap in for lawson?!
What about no rider changes after 75% fixtures completed?!

7 day ban for Lawson if anyone is interested!
I bet Ipswich will be gutted. How many Ippo meetings will he miss? oh yes NONE!! But misses 2 for Poole to keep the Pirate-haters happy!

I'm not a Poole fan but I do like Richard Lawson however I think lady night was a poor show all around. Family always comes first but the Witches management etc should of been made aware more sooner then it was.
I think the outcome is a fair one given the circumstances
The outcome doesn't affect Ipswich (they won without him) - it only affects Poole who will be without him for 2 meetings!
-

I can imagine everyone at Poole is as pee’d off as they are at Ipswich. Assuming Lawson’s statement is honest and I’ve no reason to doubt that. Family comes first and I’m sure we would all do the same and the ban is fair. The trouble is this isn’t the first time this year he has let his various clubs down.
Not sure which of his various clubs he has 'let down' previously?
Maybe the 7-day suspension rule should only apply to fixtures in the league that the 'offence' occurs? Missing the Ippo meeting yesterday didn't stop them from winning and the 7 days only affects 2xPoole meetings!

Have a good meeting, see you both in play offs. Seem to be too many injuries this year. Poole tomorrow using R/R and 2 guests. Kevin and Jan heading to Berwick ☠️☠️
That might be r/r and 3 guests?!

Lawson not riding for Ippo tonight so unless the ref was told he had taken a knock or something after the Poole match last night he’ll be banned on Saturday now also
His explanation is for all to see on facebook, including a word or two for all the various forum s#!tstirrers.

Berwick Bandits vs Poole Pirates 8th August Championship
in SGB Championship League Speedway

Having just watched last night's heat 14, I note nothing has been said about Battye's right elbow into Rushen's neck as he came out of gate 1 towards gate 2? Unsatisfactory (dangerous?) start as a bare minimum!
Tsk tsk, these youngsters eh? what are we going to do with them....? Answers on a postcard to SCB Towers, Rugby.🤣
