Poole fans whinging about a track lmao. How comical.
Even Killeen saying the track was 'terrible'. (He used a worse phrase but you know what Aussies can be like)🤣

Well after a poor night for the Pirates, at least a win in the home leg will see us through to the BSN Series semis.
-
So Oxford missing Eric Riss who is 'ill', replaced by Justin Sedgman!! I hope its not a recurrence of the 'dizziness' illness from previous seasons?

Lewis Kerr rides at #3. Zach Cook at #5. What's your point, caller?
The original Poole preview text had Cook at 3 and Kerr at 5, but it was changed/updated later.

It’s only forecast as light, 1mm in the afternoon, over before 7. It was also forecast today and didn’t happen at all, dry all day, I’m a mile from the track, we’ve had a lot more rain than that and gone ahead. Plus presumably they’ve had ample time to work on the track. Should be a good meeting.
So do Oxford still have all the equipment to 'work on the track'? There were reports that equipment had been removed.....

Aye but maybe cooper will enjoy riding round the Northside arena, releize what he is missing out on and put in a transfer request to ride full time for the Comets 😀
Although only 16 y.o. he's not stupid!!🤣

You need to hope Cooper doesn’t have à lack of confidence from riding for Kings Lynn been absolutely thrown in at the deep end which is so wrong for a young kid
If you've ever met or spoken with Cooper, the one thing he's not lacking is confidence! He may be lacking consistency in his gating but that will come. His overall bike skills are remarkable for a 16 year old.
Imo it will be his physical condition towards the 2nd half of the season which may affect him.
In the meantime we watch and wonder.....

There could be a BSN or KO cup match fitted in perhaps
There WILL be KO CUP, BSN and the Harbour Masters Challenge fixtures to be slotted in. The latter probably dependent on getting enough young riders to commit to a midweek meeting!?

Well done to Scunthorpe on the win. Pirates not seemingly at it but the job was already done.
Palm Toft came good tonight and young Ingram showed why he is in the team.
Lawson crashes out twice, MPT rediscovers his gonads, Ingram wins a race. Job done on the night for Scunny. Poole assist Godfrey's future attendances and progress in the KO Cup.😇

The same man on 360 many weeks ago referred to two big things that were going to happen involving Speedway Futures. One he said he was 99% certain of and we should hear something in about 2 weeks and the other he was 90% certain of happening. As usual there was not a drop of information and I'm still waiting as probably are many others for the announcement of one big thing never mind two.
1. Northampton
2. Phil Morris

Can only see a Poole win. But hopefully Scunthorpe put up a fight and we see some good racing.
Do we expect the scorpions to make some early changes? With Pickering average coming down and them having points to play with now?
So Scunny have an extra 1.66 to play with. What change(s) can you foresee?

He made the clubs adhere to a schedule to speed meetings up with set grading breaks. Introduced the centre green clocks. Had the sponsors banners made up in the pits so every club looked the same. Brokered deals with riders to ride in the premiership. For the grand final he had a magnificent looking stage not made of three pallets. Pyrotechnics and flames. Spoke to save Coventry stadium and offered to buy Ipswich with his own money. Introduced the media day.
but apart from that not much.
now the sport is imploding and going backwards under the current regimeMeanwhile the 'untouched by Morris' Championship is going quite well ( aside from the greyhound-affected Oxford situation)!!😉

Let's be honest no Poole fan will blame Lawson which i except but don't agree with but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. One thing for sure putting Toby in hospital won the match for Poole, but the main thing is tobys wellbeing both physically and mentally of that I'm sure we can all agree.
Poole are doing a collection for Tobi at Wednesdays meeting with Scunny.

Lawsons Danish side are a rider down now as Lawson stuffed him into the fence at Poole so he maybe called on more often
Not quite sure how he could 'stuff him into the fence' when RL was on the outside all the way down the back straight and into the 3rd bend.
Imo RL was correctly excluded as Tobi was about half a wheel length in front when the crash happened. Nothing malicious or intentional. They were both chatting together as mates in the pits immediately beforehand.

Strange that Tobias doesn't blame him then!

And you lot won't when a danish fixture clashes with a pilots meeting and Mr Lawson or Mr cook are unavailable 🤔.
Lawson has already stated he will only be available for Denmark on Wednesdays when Poole don't have a fixture. Danes operate a squad system in any case.

Is that the case, I wonder? From the context of Barker's post it seems that it might not be. Whatever, the change seems to have been poorly communicated and the fault seems to lie more with the SCB than with BSPL but ti might prove to be problematic for non-ACU licence holders.
Or maybe riders should read the regs each year?!

Agree most of the Easter weekend fixtures have fell victim to the bad weather, Easter is not the speedway sporting draw it was, due to lack of team and fixture gaps, maybe may day bank holiday weekend should be a main starting point 🤔
Judging by the size of crowd, all roads lead to Poole on Good Friday!!😂

If plymouth want newman and if i was newman i would be asking for poole to release me so i could sign long term contract.
I can't see that happening! It would affect Kyle's off-track work!!!😇

8 of the 11 points Bowes has scored so far were by beating Kilma and Spencer would class that as doing the minimum so far.
Wow. It was a great team performance at the Coliseum by the Pirates. Everyone contributed - a real team effort.

Lawson could still be feeling a little 'second hand' after his recent falls and machinery damage?
