As much as I'd like to see Tai do well, I keep looking at the list of riders and can't see who will score less than him over the course of the championship. He seems to be taking a more disciplined approach to the season so I hope it pays off for him. It would be nice to have a Brit who didn't need to rely on a wildcard selection.

Who knows? We'll have to wait and see, which is why I said "lets hope". Personally, in the future I hope people can be talking about how he sorted himself out and became a great rider. If he goes the other way then I won't have any sympathy for him.

Good to hear it wasn't over the top. Like I said before, let's hope he leaves the silly stuff behind now and concentrates on his speedway. Could easily be a multi World Champion.

So, what was the reception like?

The way I see it is he acted like an idiot, he's apologised and he's been punished by the relevant authorities. Hopefully he will have learned something from it, time will tell I suppose. It's difficult to know exactly what happened as none of us were there and we have to rely on the press, which let's face it like to sensationalise things. What I think he needs to do is ignore the abuse he is bound to get from those who hate him, as their judgement is likely to be clouded. He also needs to ignore those who suck up to him and think the sun shines from his rear for the same reason. I hope he gets some sensible advice and doesn't blow what could be an amazing career. I would like to see him and someone like Emil still entertaining for many years to come and leave the silly stuff behind.

I think Pedersen will be the 2013 champ after another good battle with Holder. Ward could easily win a GP or two but I'm not sure he can be champ yet, think he may be eating dirt a few times through getting over excited. Lindback looked good last year and looks a good outside bet for a podium place.
