Surely if Lakeside have unpaid debts outstanding they should be cleared/ paid back before John Cook promotes another speedway team. Makes a mockery to the people that are owed money.

Both myself and my family think it's great you've signed Danny Ayres. You always know you will be entertained watching him ride. Ranging from tantrums to riding the boards (air fence) He always gives 100%, it's never boring with him in a match. He will put bums on seats. A brilliant signing & well deserved team place. Danny Halsey nice guy who can do a good job on his day. So good Mildenhall continue in 2019.

I heard from a friendly source, that his old man Martin and his older brother wanted him out for a while now. I've been to Arlinggton many times all they do is argue. They don't like the prospect of Mildenhall being all conquering this year in the league. So we heard rumours there were plans to change team for a while now.They just want the league now. They have a good chance. If they steer clear of injuries. Although I think it's still Mildenhalls title. Terrible not having a meeting all this time. Obviously not good planning by them, but they will have their reason or excuses no doubt. Good luck to all

Sad weather's put paid to this one. I was looking forward to seeing how many Kemp & Edwards were gonna chalk up.

Eastbourne typically looking comfortable at home.The side this year young & all seem to get along well. They are fortunate to have had track time unlike some clubs. It's good they seem to be moving on quickly between racing, not hanging around. Also good they are doing second halves more value for money for fans that stay to support & maybe see a few future NL stars. Even though weather last night was cold, nice to see more atmosphere than previous week. The Mike man makes it better for the kids with chatter & selfies etc. Might be worth Eagles giving time for fans to have pics/ autographs with a different rider each week like they do on the Isle of Wight. Myself & my family all like the new colours freshens things up.

Sounds like it was a good meeting to watch. Myself & family should have gone. What was the crowd figure like last night? Should have been the biggest yet for local Derby. Or are all the elite (snobs) still preferring Rye House? Im Glad Lakeside strengthened it makes the NL more interesting more of a contest.

Great work from the Island promotion. Other clubs could learn so much from their standards. These guys work tirelessly to ensure satisfaction. Keep it up warriors You really do set the bar. Good move by Conner to sign Jake (I'm not riding this season ???) Knight think he's a good addition. I still feel though Belle Vue will have the beating of most teams this year. I think if we can reach the play offs and avoid Belle Vue we may have an ok chance at getting the holy grail (league) Connor Coles & Kelsy will thrive at the Island no pressure just go there and enjoy it. Not under the threat of the father & son dugard guillotine. best of luck to both hope they do well. Heard a rumour last Saturday waiting to sign George Hunter at reserve. So perhaps young Alex spoooner won't be around for long. Feel certain we will beat the Kings on Saturday

Shame theirs no Bewley or Jenkins in this one they are real young lions to watch for the future. Both riders make look so effortless on the bike. Will take this meeting in maybe interesting. Hoping the tracks in better state than last few times I've visited the stadium. Hope they all have safe day & the weather is kind.

Why oh why do the meetings drag on so long at Eastbourne? They seem to take forever. Can they not do something to speed up things. Think I'm going to give Lakeside a visit see if they do there matches any quicker. Have to admit we were a bit bored last night. The most exciting race heat 15 Mark Baseby real race to the flag

Real shame for Danny Ayres I hope he recovers well. I too think he's such a great character to have around in the sport. As for the Eastbourne fans booing him, I seem to remember them booing Mr Perks not too long ago & look where he is now! Come on great guns this year. Yes would be such fun to have Danny in an Eagles race jacket

I think you are seriously underating Nathan Stoneman, IMO Cockle tires too easily not what you need against a young Brum side
