Things have to change at the club that is clear to see, but will Buster let that happen. I doubt it. He is very old school and appears to be stuck in his ways. Rob looks to have taken a back seat, all we seem to hear from recently is Dale about EL matters, perhaps he is taking it over? Changing Mads for Rory was the worst decision. Yes, Rory is good, but he is coming back from another injury and perhaps he needed more time on the bike. Mads would've given more stability. But, i've no doubt that once that changed happened, any form of team spirit we had, disappeared along with our hopes of a top 4 finish. And Trees, take the rose tinted glasses off. The club is struggling. I know your now part of the supporters club and should back the team, but be realistic they are poor.

Feel for Rory after last night. Hope he'll be okay. That crash looked terrible.
-
Easy win for the Stars for me. I hoping by 10+. Seems ages since our last meeting, can't wait to get back to the AFA.
-
They should ensure that suits are there for the first meeting. It's the club that looks stupid not the riders.
-
Would Batch replace NBJ And the team still be in the limit? I agree about the suits. Very poor from our management. Those race shirts look terrible, it's a good job our tv meeting was called off. Its not good going on tv without suits, especially as it was the first Sky meeting.
-
If dropped, would he want to help out though? Presumably he wouldn't leave bikes here.
-
I think he has to race 5 more times for him to be an asset. Then I suppose he can be rested if everyone else was on form.
-
On current form I would keep the German. He's done well so far. Rory needs to up his game or was he getting his average down enough to allow Batchelor to come into the side with Niels?
-
I hope he will be. Big question is who goes if Niels stays?
-
If Troy doesn't ride then surly the club has wasted money getting him a visa.
-
I just feel Rory needs to concentrate on getting back on a bike rather than taking that focus away. Does anyone know if he's had any practice? Without a "number 1" we'll need him scoring big points each week.
-
That was on the club website last week. Hope he is given a chance to help the meeting, the Ben-Fund has gone downhill a bit in recent years. I do worry that being involved off track will effect his return, especially after coming back form such a big injury.
-
I agree. The news they put out yesterday was just saying that there is no news. What is the point of that? I would rather have news worth reading than constant rubbish being pushed out. If there is no news then there is no reason to tell us there is no news.

I would say the reserve position is more important. A number one can only get a max of 15 points in a meeting. A decent reserve can score 21 points with 7 rides. Plus if we get a decent reserve in, if they do go up into the top 5 we will have an equally strong reserve replacement in Rory, Mads, Robert or Troy depending on who is lowest in the averages.

Really happy with Mads coming back. We needed a bit of spark in the team last year. With him Rory and Troy we should see some great action. I've seen Nicki's name mentioned quite a bit, but why would he come back to the UK? Most big names are leaving because there are too many meetings. Plus he also put on Facebook today that he is moving back to Denmark from the UK.

They did: "Kerr was informed that the management were considering a race night change before his move to the Witches."
-
Taking it on face value, Buster is driving the fixed race night and moving to one of those fixed nights make sense to convince the others. I personally don't mind, quite a few of our fixtures were on Thursday's this year so it doesn't make much difference. It's a big blow to lose Lewi, he has a bright future but it sounds like he was set on racing in the Premier League. Perhaps he wanted a move away from Lynn or his race team (Evolution) wanted him at Ipswich with Danny King, who I believe is part of the same team. I really hope he will be back in 2017, Coventry look the best option for him if the King link up is what they want.

Belle Vue V King's Lynn 20 July, 2015

Really??? Fisher or Doolan, that's the best you can come up with. I would rather stick with Bjerre. That would just be making changes for the sake of it. -

Just out of curiosity Screamer, who would you replace Bjerre with? -

Perhaps they were waiting on Milik, to see if he is fit enough to ride. Looks like he struggled in Poland this evening. -
Kings Lynn Vs Belle Vue : Wed 23rd July

More like, Belle Vue made the highest bid for him! -
Wolves were very poor and just looked disinterested from the outset. Freddie Lindgren showed why he is not a GP rider anymore, lacked speed all night. Niels passed him in 13 like he was standing still! Good performance from Bjerre. Looked a different rider and had a bit of confidence back. Good to see.
-
Fricke is a decent guest and should score a few points against a poor Wolves team. With whats available I'm not surprised that R/R is used with Fricke, Bjerre, Porsing and Kerr all getting one ride extra each.

King's Lynn Vs Poole 1st July
StarCrazy replied to Star Lady's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Sky have nothing to do with how the track is prepared as far as I am aware. That is down to the hosting teams track man. Can you imagine telling Buster how to prepare his own track! Thought Morris did well last night, he is starting to find his feet at the Arena. Time for a change though and it has to be Bjerre. Porsing sorted himself out but Bjerre just looks lost.
